TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Golden State, Chicago, New Jersey and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Golden State, Chicago, New Jersey and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out unless trade exceptions were used for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Anyoe have any insights?

The Bulls give up Gordon and get...RON MERCER? DEREK FISHER? CALBERT CHEANEY? They could get better players for Curry ALONE, why give up TWO YOUNG players for THREE WASHED UP Bench Players? Come on, this isn't NBA Live. This trade stinks And you, my friend, deserve a Peace
no way Warriors want this-Lakers seem to reap the main benefit on either scenario, From Warriors perspective replace Curry with Chandler and its almost okay- but then I don't think CHI or NJ would be happy
yea...either trade is a little dirty for the bulls. chicago MUST be through with giving up on young prospects since theyve been raped in the passed doing that. hinrich and gordon both have huge upsides...i doubt the bulls would give up on them for a handfull of aging role players. not to mention curry. trade looks alright otherwise...seems fair to everyone else. but i thought that mullen was sold on dunleavy and wont give up on him?
yeah if the bulls did that trade, gm paxson would be guillotined. btw, chris mullin is the worst gm in the league, the derek fisher and foyle signing were easily the most foolish signings i've seen since i started following basketball.
i dont think the bulls will make a trade ne time soon. they have young talented players and stay together for a long time
i dont think the bulls will trade any one right now. they have been playing really great, they on a 6 game win streak and in the 8th seed also. and those guys(hinrich, curry) are the reason. but i dont know the bulls have traded away some really good players.
Lol what the crap is this???? Who sits at home and makes up a possible trade with 15+ players? IMO you are very lonely and not very smart because from the looks of it Golden State gives away a bunch of worthless role players for up and comers.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Tesh15:</div><div class="quote_post">i dont think the bulls will make a trade ne time soon. they have young talented players and stay together for a long time</div> Exactly right Tesh, this team isn't going to be broken apart any time soon or ever; that is, unless someone leaves to test the free agency market. But in all truth, the Chicago Bulls would never trade any of those players and I'll tell you why. First up is Kirk Hinrich, Air Pietrus, have you ever watched a Chicago Bulls game this season? The Bulls will never give up their captain, who is the most popular player to their fans, not to mention one of the most intelligent players in the league for old and slowly dying bench material. Ben Gordon is a work in progress as many thought he would be because of his size and playing time off the bench. He is working his own way into Scott Skiles' system and shoots the ball from behind the arch with perfection. It's rare that he even misses a three point shot when he's left wide open, which can be scary for any team trying to keep their lead within the last few minutes. Ben also excells at the free throw line, taking his time to measure the shot and strength needed depending on his durable state. Simply put for Eddy Curry, if they were to trade this guy it would've happened before the 2003-04 season. But they have stuck with him and Tyson Chandler because they are determined to work hard at their game no matter what the cost. They both trained very hard over the summer, Eddy Curry lost a lot of weight and Tyson Chandler gained muscle and worked very well on his jumpshot and free throws. If this isn't enough information to tell anyone that the Bulls won't be trading anyone anytime soon, I don't know what else to say.
Actually Gordon and Curry,as well as Dunleavy are living with the burden of being picked pretty high for their talent. Goron may get as good as Fisher, maybe better.Cliff Robinson is good, but old,so a factor is the cap room as his conract ends. These days a large 2-team deal is complex because the cap side effects skew values. Odd that in this thread Foyle gets put down, while suddenly Curry found a work ethic. If Foyle is 100% healthy and gets enough minutes to be in the flow,he's good. Per minute he will block shots, get boards and hustle

Please leave the Bulls out of all trade ideas. Nobody's going anywhere.
Hinrich, Gordon, Duhon, Deng Why would the Bulls want to trade any of these Players? Forget about the points boards and assists etc... its about developing the players into NBA Stars
