O.k seconed game thread for me,hope the T'wolves gonna have as great whole game like the fourth quarter of my first thread-vs. suns.

K.G is mad!!! he wants his team back but no ones answering to the fullest! i believe, at least hope the the poor ugly, nasty whatever you call the bobcats game would serve sa a BIG RING RING call dor the team to come together and dominate once again!
for this game-K.G wont let minny lose even if he half to play on his own the whole game.
for games to come-@wizards and vs. the lakers...I rather wait and see how the team comes to this one after the lose to charlote.
as for the standings, i think the sonics wont last at the top...they are still ahead of us by much! but seconed straight lose for them makes me happy and hopefull for things to come good for the t'wolves standings...

Anyone here?

We need a win, we really need a win but I have a strange feeling in my gut and maybe a loss is better, so we finally do something about it...

I'll be at the game tonight, so hopefully we can get a win and end this 4 game losing streak.

^Living in UK and before that in Germany isn't much better, haven't seen a game since 2001, and my last live game I followed (only on TV) was back in 95-96....

wow i feel bad that you guys cant just go down to the target center and watch the TW in person, but lately they really havnt been worth watching but i am hoping and praying we turn this around. I supect that anthony carter will get some more time tonight to match up with AI, but what i am excited to see if that does happen if with A C begin more of pass first point guard if our offense will operate better and if we will defend better. lets hope we can win this one!!!!

I'm still dreaming of seeing a live game with KG, and another of the Magic...

I don't think we see much of Carter today. By the way, AI seems to have the flu and might not even play.

I wish I lived in Minnesota. I hope to live there eventually. Living in New Jersey, I can only see the Wolves once in person when they come to the Continental Airlines Arena to play the Nets. I can't see them in person this year since I am working the day the Wolves come to town in East Rutherford, NJ. Hopefully, I will see them next year.

I am glad I get to see the Wolves on TV a lot. I wish I would see them for all 82 games with the NBA League Pass, but my mother would never let me order it since it's too pricey for her. I offered to pay her on my account, but she said no. UGH!

TIMBERWOLVES ACTUALLY WON! OMG!

Could you believe it? The Wolves won. WOW! Didn't expect that and I sure was expecting another fourth quarter collapse. I didn't know when they would play well, but I am glad it was tonight. I know the Sixers were without AI and I know that they were tired from the 8-game road trip out West, but you know the saying about how beggars can't be choosers. Wolves are in no position to cherry-pick wins. Besides Sixers had numerous chances to beat the Wolves so I will savor this win.

Sammy was fantastic. He was the player of the game tonight. Where was that from him in recent weeks? Tonight, he did what he did last year and that was making big shots down the strech. He was at the top of his game tonight. He was clearly the catalyst to the offense. When he is on, Timberwolves win 100% of the time. He was feeling it out there tonight. Unfortunately, he got hurt in the final minute of the game tonight. He was in serious pain. Hopefully, it was a cramp and nothing more. If they lose him, they are in big trouble.

KG was huge especially in the fourth quarter when the Sixers were within striking distance.

Wally was fantastic.

Did Latrell showed up? I keep asking myself that question going back to last year.

Michael Olowokandi was useless as usual as he had two quick fouls to start the game. [IMG]

I just like how the offense was run tonight. It's been awhile since I saw that. Of course, there are some issues that has to be solved. The interior defense need to get better. Guys like Marc Jackson and Corliss Williamson were able to score in the paint easily tonight. It's a common occurance and that is likely going to be a problem this season.

With that said, I am happy about the win. I can eat well and I can sleep well. I can be in a great mood when the Wolves win like I am tonight. I am going to savor this win.

Since we are talking injury, Mark Madsen left the game early after he fell down and injured himself. I hear he may be out for awhile. That's a tough loss since he is the Wolves best center.

A win is a win is a win.

But this wasn't a great win, without AI and being the last opponent in a 8 game long roadtrip we should have destroyed them.

Some changes need to be made and the team needs to play more aggressive.

Agreed. And looking at the direction the whole game was heading in, I think it's safe to say he's the only reason the Timberwolves won. Garnett was getting hounded by double teams, and Marc Jackson was simply wearing him out. So I highly doubt Garnett would be factor that time being. So again, I believe if it wasn't for Cassell heroics the 76ers would win. But congrats to the Timberwolves, because this was a very needy win for them, unfortunately they lost two players in the process.

This was the first game in a while that Flip Suanders checked Sammy back into the game before the 10:00 mark in the 4th quarter, usually he waits till its like 6:00 minutes left in the 4th and expects him to jump right in and hit all the big shots. But Sam doesnt have the rythm after sitting out so long from the end of the 3rd quarter. If Flip lets Sam operate the entire 4th, he will win more games for the Wolves in the 4th then he will lose, its that simple.

Anyway, this was a bitter sweet win for the Wolves they lose Mad dog, which is secretly huge because now they have to rely on EJ to play more minutes, when he hasnt really played much at all this season. And Kandiman will have to find away to stay out of foul trouble to stay on the court, which he cant do. The Wolves got killed by Philly's ablity to offensive rebound. And with mad dog out and the 5 spot already weak, the Wolves are going to really have a difficult time on the boards. And the sad part is tonight they play the Wizards, a extremely good offensive rebounding team, with Jamison & Haywood.

Also Sam is questionable for tonight after leaving the Philly game with the strain on his calf. But hopefully at most all he misses is one game.

Avery: I think Sammy will be okay. Mark Madsen is out for six weeks though. His loss hurts because he is our starting center and Olowokandi just is too dumb to even play in the NBA.

Henacy: Great point that you made about how Cassell should start the fourth quarter instead of coming in after six minutes past the fourth quarter. I hope Flip can understand that.
