Those losses were really crucial especially ones that could have been avoided like against the Nets. You can throw Sacremento up their too because we had them but, stupid plays like that missed layup and ill advised 3 from TT lossed us it. Miami we really were not supposed to win but, I am happy to see we put up a decent fight. We need to win today. Our next couple of games are very winnable. We have Cleveland today, Portland tommorow New Orleans Chicago twice and Toronto. If the Knicks want to get some mommentum and start making a statement they will have to start now. Right now Philadelphia is literally brething down our necks and Boston is not too far behind either. Let's win the next couple of games alright New York?

Like Stephen A. Smith, Greg Anthony and Tim Legler once said, the "76ers will win the Atlantic Division" and so they will. I always believed that the 76ers would win the Atlantic Division even though when it looked as if the Knicks were starting to make a run at the number one spot. But with up's and downs up both teams, the 76ers are right there.

With a win in last nights game against Minnesota the 76ers would be tied with the Knicks for the number one spot. And after ending an 8-game road trip and head home it just a matter of time before the 76ers take the number one spot. They had many opportunities to take over the AD, but they just had minor stumbles. And again, heading back home will be a big change in scenery for them, a much more positive and reliving scenery that matter in which will come with some wins. So again, it's just a matter of time before the 76ers take over the AD division. I can almost promise you by the All-Star break the 76ers will be either tied with the Knicks for the number one spot in the AD or number one.

I guess we will have to see. I can't say anything more than that.

The race in the Atlantic is getting tight. The Knicks need to take advantage of their upcoming 6 games, starting today with Cleveland. Five of them are sub-.500 teams. Following the 6 games they will have 4 straight home games which they tend to do well in (until as of late). If the Knicks can win 7 of the 10 games, it will be big for them.

Well that's no surprise. For the Knicks to stay at the number 1 spot, teams such as the 76ers and Celtics need to them a favor by losing games. But right now I'm somewhat glad myself, because the Knicks are getting manhandled by the Cavaliers. And the way this game looks, it seems as if the Knicks will fall to 16-17. Then tomorrow the Knicks face a well balanced team like the Blazers, and if they lose that game as well, Philly will be number 1. [IMG]

My friend even if the Knicks lose tomorrow and lose the lead in the Atlantic it doesnt matter. The only reason why the Knicks are losing now is because of injuries. The 76's might take the lead but they wont be able to pull away from the Knicks. At most they'll be up two games. Then when guys start coming back we'll start winning on a consistent basis again. We're not halfway through the season the Knicks will catch up without too much trouble. If Philly gets hot and starts playing really well it could come down to a tie and the Knicks will have the tiebreaker. The race in the Atlantic is getting interesting now but the Knicks will still win it and take the third seed. Philly will sneak in and take the eighth.

knicks will probably win it unless raptors, or sixers make a run, i just dont see nets winning it, they have no front court, and even if the nets did win, they would b eliminated in da first round

I tell Ming that same thing everday when we argue about the Knicks and Sixers, lol. But in the end I truely think Philly will come out on top. We started off the season bad, but it's not how you start it's how you finish.

So basicly youre just listening to the analysts and not formulating your own opinion. [IMG]

This is a joke right? [IMG] Look at the Nets frontcourt and bench and then tell me they will win the Atlantic Divison.

The Atlantic division is a joke. Not one team is over .500

Though as sad as it is, so long as the New York Knicks capture it, I'll be happy, though I second guess a 2nd round birth with their current form. We need to get healthy again, and soon, before Lenny Wilkens loses his job.

We need to step it up. We already have Toronto on Wednesday. The Raptors are playing good basketball so far, but it is a winnable game for us. We need to have a bounce back performance and create some space. We are playing in a horrible division, we need to take advantage.
