Can we bounce back from the heavy defeat in Cleveland? I personally think this is an easier game to win, especially at MSG but the team needs to forget about last night and the 4 game losing streak if they wanna win.

    Predictions/thoughts anyone?

The Blazers too good of a team to loose to the Knicks. Thier interior defence, rebounding, and offense shall dominate the Knicks in my opinion. The Knick's only chance is to hope that Houston, Stephon, and the other guards come through with supurb shooting.

The Knicks will simply be over powered down low, as they wont be able to defend Randolph, Jabbar, and Patterson; SM and AH's shooting should keep the Knicks close but the Blazers shall prevail in my opinion. My prediction:

    Blazers win 95-82.

Just as I was hoping it to pan out. Up by 13 at the half. Let's just hope we can maintain this form after the break.

Great half. The transition defense is showing vast improvement from the Cleveland game, and our offense has been spectacular. Ariza has been outstanding for us, moving around so much on offense and creating shot oppurtunities looked like a young Reggie Miller with leaping ability.

All in all, we looked more efficient from the field, and you know why? Tiny Tim is out on the bench with a fake injury. Further proof that whiny Tim is nothing but a cancer for the team's defense and chemistry. A pure liability.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BobbyEscobar:</div><div class="quote_post">Knicks Analyst i have become a believer. Tim Thomas needs to be benched for good.</div>YES! Got another one. Is that number 2 or 3? And I've gotten like 20 people before you and Mrj18. So wow, I'm on a roll. Welcome to our anti-TT society!

Good game. Marbury played great basketball, and Ariza was fantastic. Ariza will be replacing Tiny Tim soon, as soon as we find a taker for TT (my be next year with his contract). Ariza is the future for the Knicks at SF.

Houston looked a bit slow and lagged at times but he's clear now. Great shooting night for him, I'm very pleased with his performance.
Kurt disappointed me in the rebounding field, he's got to get motivated.
As usual Jerome Williams was the spark plug, and got everyone on the court pumped up on defense. Lenny seems to love him, 44 minutes - WOW. Only thing I didn't like about JYD tonight was his turnovers, but I'm sure he's working on that.

    Good win.

<font size="1">*And I'm very happy that I finally convinced Bobby Excobar, who firmly held his ground - until NOW. [IMG]</font>

Great win from the Knicks I hope that will put us in a good frame of mind to go on a winning streak now. Nice to see Allan Houston back on track pointswise. Oh and I'm with you on TT. Only problem is who would be stupid enough to accept a trade with him involved?

EDIT: Please edit your posts from now on instead of making an entirely new post.

Well, Allan Houston and Stephon Marbury played their best game together tonight since Marbury got here, in my opinion. Both combined for 45 pts and 15 assists. They did a great job breaking down the defense and connecting on their shots either by either being giving open space or the defender being too close in their face. Both guards shot 70% from the feild with a lot of help from their fowards and bench. Wow it feels nice to see Houston back to his old form. His shots were just pretty.

What can I say? Good win. Ends the losing streak. Hopefully JYD starts from now on. TT plays better coming off the bench anyway. Houston's jumpshot on point but has trouble moving laterally but that'll go away in a while. Seven players in double digits show that we were unselfish which is always good. Just a nice win for us. We still didnt really do a great job defensively but doesnt matter as our offense was too much for them. I'm just hoping that all of our guys can play like this on Tuesday.

This is a good start to our easy upcoming games. Allan Houston and Starbury played great our there and i'm glad TT was benched the whole game.

The thing is, it's not him that a team would want, it's his expiring contract. Next season, he'll be in the last year of his deal and teams will be able to clear his $13 million or so off their cap to possibly go after a big name player.

I think Lenny Wilkens said 2-3 weeks, but I'm not too sure.

I agree TT play so much better of the bench. I like how JYD brought some energy to the game and had everyone playing a little defense.

I only wish we could but noone would trade a draft pick or a rookie for TT and that contract. A defensive player would be nice and a step forward in improving our defense.

Hey I believe I was the first person to call TT a fugazy. I've been saying TT sucks ever since I got here. So we're on a roll. By the way completely off topic but, I didnt have you figured as a Mets fan. Let me guess...you're a Giants fan too. [IMG]

Although you and Tribute to H2O had me thinking about Thomas, the real story behind me not liking TT is because of himself. Tim Thomas was playing like an absolute bum. A slump? We have played over 30 games and just about every single one he has struggled. Maybe 5 or 6 he played half decent. I wouldn't call that a slump. And I remeber debating for him with Tribute. I was like look at this scrub I am supporting. I was saying he would average a career high and reach his potenetial here in NY. Boy was I wrong! He did just the opposite. If TT had not played this badly you guys might see me with a TT sig right now.
