move aside Fearsome foursome & Purple people eaters.

Imagine this quartet in certain situations; J Taylor @ RDE, Holliday & K Carter @ DT, & Matt Roth @ LDE.

Or tweak that and picture Taylor @ LDE, Holliday & Roth @ DT, & Carter @ RDE.

that defensive line makes me wanna poo in my pants. seriously when i think of that line, i get so scared. If i was a QB, id kill myself before the game. LOL. I wasnt too sure about Matt Roth, but maybe he can play OLB...but he's too big to play OLB. We DO need another OLB. If we switch to a 3-4, we could do something like:

    Holliday, Carter, Taylor

    Seau, Thomas, Pope, Roth

Madison, Poole, Shazor (hopefully), Tebucky Jones

Now with our 3rd round pick....i see us taking a Center. 4th round, i imagine Ernest Shazor. 5th round, i imagine a QB (Stefan Lefors). 7th round, im going out on a limb but i think either a TE, or DT. (Kelly Griffeth or Albert Means)

Matt Roth measued at 278lbs at the combine, he cant stand up and be effective, however, that size does make him a good fit as a 3-4 DE....so more accurately, its this:

    Roth(DE) Bowens or Chester(NT) Carter(DE)

    Crowder(OLB) Thomas(ILB) Pope(ILB) Taylor(OLB)

    Madison(CB) Jones(FS) Bell(SS) Poole(CB)

thats a pretty good starting defense and we are getting younger and athletic....thats a damn hard hitting defense....
