Thomas said the Knicks might be a .500 club this season, and that's where they reached last night.

With Wilkens' job security becoming a hot issue following Saturday's matinee massacre in Cleveland, the Knicks removed some speculation with a fiery, passionate and effective Garden performance.</div>

I loved our performance on Sunday, but that doesn't merit keeping Wilkens in any way. And while Isiah keeps trying to tell us indirectly not to get to excited, I think we get more anxious. Please tell me, does anyone here remember Isiah taking the President of Basketball Operation spot and saying that we'll be a .500 team. Isiah, you completely shattered our chances to sink under the cap in the future, now you better put a new team on the board by the deadline - a better one.

I agree. I for one want to advance in the playoffs and far. I would be very happy if we can make it to the conference finals. The way this team looks right now, we might not make it out the first round. Penny and TT's contract will become expiring in the summer. I am very sure Isiah will be receiviving some phone calls around this time so we can get a legit player(s). Hypothetically if they don't, we will have 2 huge contracts expiring right in our hands. For some reason I feel as if he will trade them to Atlanta for Antoine Walker. Ket's just hope the best for our future.

I don't see Walker becoming a Knick. Isiah wants athleticism and Antoine is not that player. I just think he's one player the Knicks won't be going after.

As for Wilkens...who would coach the Knicks? Isiah himself? Trust me guys, you DON'T want him on your sideline. And after Isiah, who's out there? Who would you want to replace Wilkens?
    Peace

Isiah has tried to get Walker over the summer and now that he will be a free agent this summer, it looks as if he will try and make another move.

I really think any coach other than Lenny Wilkens will be better for us. With all the talent the Knicks have, can they possibly be doing any worse than they are now? If so, not by much at all. Isiah has said that he will not be coaching us so I guess we will have to take his word for it. Is Bzdelik availible for us? I honestly think that he will be better than Wilkens.
