<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In a tribute that would have been fitting for someone who has died, several Magic players wore #5 black armbands during their game on Monday night versus Boston, following the trade that sent Cuttino Mobley to the Sacramento Kings for Doug Christie. Mobley had mixed emotions about the deal, expressing excitement about joining Sacramento's potent offense, but disappointment at leaving the improved Magic. "I'm sad," Mobley said at halftime. "I don't know what the situation was. Maybe they were scared I wouldn't sign back. ... I wasn't saying I would have opted out."</div> Full Story: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylc=X3oD...ov=ap&type=lgns I'm going to miss Mobley and everything he brought to the table, but now we have Christie and we can't dwell on the trade. (Even if we dislike the trade, theres nothing we can do now but hope Christie helps us improve our defense which is what we need.)
Well good bye Mobley you will be missed in the short time he spent with us he really left a mark on the orginization it really is sad to see him go. He gave us something that I think Christie will never be able to really replace.
We have to forget about it now really. Yes it could be a "bad" offensive move, but hopefully the gains we get from defense outta christie and a those few extra rebounds and assists will help us out majorly
*Sigh* It's sad to see him go, I really enjoyed watching the Magic play because I hardly ever got to watch the Rockets play when they had Francis, Mobley and Cato, I can't believe they traded him, Steve Francis said he wasn't happy about it either, I feel bad for both of them....
Hey everybody its been awhile but Im getting back to posting...I just wanted to say that I was at game at Boston and it wasnt pretty. Francis wasnt there mentally and obviously frustrated. He seems to be focused now but I didnt like hearing him say how Weisbrod ruined such a good thing. Im hoping Francis will be content and stay with Orlando for a long time. Once Dwight develops anything could happen.
