Ok, you guys have to check out the poll on the Rockets official website (http://www.nba.com/rockets), it asks who is the greatest rockets player ever, when I voted for Hakeem I surely thought he'd be leading the poll, I won't tell you who is leading but I think you already know...

The Dream. This is too easy.

Hakeem Olajuwon. He has done so much for this team with two championships and those many memories that he has left behind. Aside from maybe Clyde the Glide, I don't think anyone has really done anything that special for the Rockets that can equal what Hakeem has done. Oh yeah, I really don't know why Charles Barkley is doing there. He's done nothing for the team, instead I actually think he hurt it more.

Geez, Yao Ming is ahead of Moses 13% to 1%!? That's just wrong. The man was an MVP while with the Rockets.

And I disagree about Barkley not deserving to make the list. He was particularly good his first year with us. No way we would have won 57 games if we had kept Horry and Cassell. He was rebounding the ball like he was in his mid-20s in his last years, even with all the injuries. And no one was as good at starting a fast break off a defensive rebound in recent memory then Sir Charles. I remember one time he grabbed the rebound and threw it the length of the court to Hakeem for the dunk all in one motion (before landing). That was an amazing play.

I actually voted for Calvin Murphy. What shocked me though was that guys like Rudy T and Murph had 0% of the votes??? Did Yao do more than those greats?

At this point, its just a popularity contest. All the poll shows is that Yao and McGrady have a huge fanbase. It also shows not a lot of people have any knowledge or appreciation of the hall of fame greats that have played for us in the past.

I agree that this is just a popularity contest...IMO, the top Rocket is easily Dream, followed closely by Rudy T and Calvin...Yao and TMac have done nothing so far, in terms of winning or team accomplishments...I'd put Mario Elie, Clyde and even Barkley before even thinking of naming those two...

    Extremely ridiculous poll.

McGrady huh? He's played...34 games as a Rocket now?

    Give me a break!

I chose Hakeem Olajuwan, but i'm surprised to see Yao and T-mac were 2nd and 3rd.

actually, it is unfair to poll a all-time star, guys know the present more than the past.
