<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CLEVELAND -- Cavaliers guard Dajuan Wagner is in the hospital after missing the last two games with intestinal flu. Wagner was treated Monday at the Cleveland Clinic for dehydration and gastroenteritis, the latest in a series of medical problems for the guard since he joined Cleveland. He missed 35 games as a rookie during the 2002-03 season, including his first 14 because of surgery for a bladder infection. Last season, Wagner had an inflamed liver and pancreas that delayed knee surgery. He played in just 44 games. "Every year it's always something and he can never be healthy enough to get into any kind of rotation," Cavaliers coach Paul Silas said Monday. Wagner has appeared in only 11 games this season, averaging four points and shooting just 33 percent from the field. He was listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game against Charlotte. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers might lose rookie guard Luke Jackson for the season if he needs surgery for a back problem diagnosed as a herniated disc. Jackson, the No. 10 overall pick in the draft, has been on the injured list with back spasms. He has played just 43 minutes this season. The Cavaliers declined to make him available for interviews after practice Monday. Silas said it will be up to Jackson whether he has surgery. "He'll make the call and I can't really say at this point," Silas said. "If it is, I hope it corrects it and he can become the Luke of old with his athleticism -- running the floor, just playing all out. ... I haven't seen that so far. This is the reason." The Cavaliers hoped Jackson could help them immediately with his shooting. He shot 46 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range as a four-year starter at Oregon.</div> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1963936
This is not too much bad news. The way James has been dominating with a nice supporting cast, the Cavaliers will not really miss them too much. Have any of them even played much this season?

Besides, he still has Gooden to back him up when needed.
"Every year it's always something and he can never be healthy enough to get into any kind of rotation," Cavaliers coach Paul Silas said Monday. I had no idea that Wagner had this many medical problems. I always figured the reason Wagner was not in any of the Cavaliers roations was because he did not fit in any of them. This is really sad news to hear about any player. I hope that wagner can somehow be healed of these restrainst, and get back to playing basketball.
I was hoping for Luke to perform right away this season. There were high expectations for him to come here and make an impact right away from him being hurt and lack of minutes have prevented him from this. People were looking at him mainly for 3's, but it hasn't happened, which really it's not his fault. I never really liked Wagner. Maybe I like the fact that he is from Memphis, but that is it. At SG, his normal position, he is undersized. He seems too much of a ballhog. He dribbles around and wastes the shotclock down to the last few seconds and jacks up an unessacery shot. He tried making the transition to pointguard, but of course, it didn't work. His selfishness, bad decision making and his size makes it very tough for him to perform. Best of luck to him in his recovery, but his play won't be missed.
I just want both to get healthy and get back out on the court. Both have a ton of potential, but haven't really showed it yet. Wagner's had the chance, but hasn't done much to impress me yet. Jackson has barely played, so I haven't gave up on him just yet... Atleast we got LeBron...haha
