This guy was a decent starting PG for the Jazz last season, and now he's slowly being dropped out of the lineup.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Carlos Arroyo says he is not the type of player to demand a trade. But now that he has dropped to third or fourth in the Jazz's point-guard rotation, Arroyo acknowledges that the notion of playing elsewhere has a certain appeal.
"I want to play, and I can't succeed on the bench," Arroyo said Wednesday. "If I can't play here, what can I do?"
Arroyo emphasized that "my first choice is for things to go back to normal." In other words, reinstating him into the Jazz's starting lineup, where he played 71 games last season and 16 this year before being demoted last month. "But what I'm hearing now is, [it's] probably not [going to happen]. So I need to find a way to change that."</div>

What is everyones thoughts on him? Yay or Nay? He's a decent PG, and I wouldn't mind having him on our roster.. depending on the price.

He would be a good addition to our roster if he was cheap. We have Nelson and Francis so we wouldn't need him but if he didn't want to much money I'm sure we could use him. He showed he has good long range shooting in the olympics and would be a good fit for our high scoring offense.

I'd take him. Wish Magic would trade for him...

I can't say I like this trade for Orlando. They already have Francis, why would they want Arroyo? If Carlos backs Francis up can he really expect to get sufficient minutes. Forget about what this would do to the development of Jameer Nelson. I really do not think that the Magic need another PG.

So much for that. [IMG] Today the Pistons aquired him for Elden Campbell and a first round pick.

The Piston's won't give him up. They need a young backup point guard who can take some pressure off Lindsey Hunter due to his age.

Oh I know, they got a great deal and they are going to take it and run. IMO, the Jazz could have gotten a lot more for Arroyo, but I guess it didn't matter much to the Jazz organization because they were unhappy with him.
