Well, it just goes by overall worst records. We've always managed to stay out of the "worst record in the league" hole, but sometimes we haven't fared much better.
Yeah, I remember that. They had it on TV and I think it was the Dallas Mavericks once or twice, the Clippers twice or thrice, the Nuggets twice, and then the Cavaliers a bunch of times and finally the Vancouver Grizzlies before the team moved to Memphis and before the old GM drafted Pau Gasol and Jerry West took over and stuck in Hubie Brown as head coach. And for the Cavs, until Lebron came, the Cavs fans weren't very optimistic with D-Miles and Ricky Ricky in their squad. I can't even name one player recognizable from the Cavs two years ago before Lebron got drafted. I think it was just Zyldrunas Illgauskus and a bunch of bad drafts. But you can't blame them for Diop and Wagner and Boozer was just money. BTW Warriors aren't known for being extremely bad, just extremley mediocre. We may get close to making that list this year, though. We're playing our 38 year old small forward/power forward at center for chrissakes because our backup center wanted to start and we didn't want to lose a player role model and a valuable shotblocker. My lord 8 or 10 mil a year? I was giving Mullin the benefit of the doubt on that one. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kwan called it. Especially the Fisher one. Mully should be calling Kwan for job advice or hire him as the "special assistant" with the office next to his.
