    The person didn't rule out Wilkens getting fired eventually.

    exactly, but all in all this is interesting news to know.

    All I can say is I hate Lenny Wilkens for being such a lousy coach and I hate Isiah Thomas for making dumb decisions including but not limited to, hiring Lenny Wilkens and not firing him earlier this season.
