Nene & Olowakandi: Another fight in the NBA! Olowakandi went at Nene, Nene retaliated. They went at it, suspended. Man, what's with all these fights this year?
Michael Olowokandi is a freaking idiot. Why in the world did he threw the first punch at Nene? Why? Michael bumped into Nene and Nene bumped into Michael. That should have been the end of it. Why in the hell did Michael punched him after Nene bumped him? What was that? How idiotic was that? Bad enough he wake up the crowd and wake up the sleeping giant in the Nuggets. Now he is going to be suspended for several games and rightfully so. This is just selfishness on his part. I don't know what Michael was thinking. I know he is not the smartest tool in the shed, but geez. I was very disgusted when I saw that. Oh and I wasn't suprised when both teams got into a fight. You knew that was coming. It happened in the first game of the year and it happened tonight. Both teams have hatred towards each other going back to the playoffs last year.
There was obviously some pushing and shoving going on between those two before that play. On that play, though, Nene gave him a shove in the back, Kandi turned towards him nd said something to him, and Nene did a little head butt. And that set off the punch from Kandi and the retaliation from Nene. Judging by that play alone, Nene was more responsible than Kandi. But I think both should be suspended.

Well it started with Nene and Michael talking to each other and then KG has to take Michael away from Nene. Then when Denver got the ball back, Michael decided to confront Nene AGAIN and they both bumped each other and then Michael went off. Michael should have just let it go after the headbutt. The refs should have been aware of it beforehand and then warn those two.

Then the ref went over to Camby and Spreewell and told them to quit joking with each other. But Olowaknadi hasn't been to smart lately. First it was the refusing to leave a bar, now this. At least Kg, Martin and a few others were trying to keep peace.
Great, another fight. I don't know whats with the league but they definitely should keep it clean. Yeah, I know it makes the game more exciting, but when you want to watch a fight, just go watch hockey or boxing or something. It might just be me, but this year it seems that the NBA is so tainted with these fights, arrests, and all this other stuff going on. Sure, they happened last year too, but not as much in my opinion (or it just might be me). Now that its said and done, anyone have any idea on what the suspensions are?
Here is how I saw it: The two were talking trash all game long, and throwing some unneeded elbows and such. A couple plays before, Nene was in Olowakandi's face, and if it weren't for Garnett, they probably would have gotten into it right then and there. But the next play Olowakandi made a dumb move and threw a half headbutt - half punch. Nene responded with a flurry of what looked like my little sister trying to punch. It was a sissy play on each of the players part, they both deserve suspensions. I was glad Kenyon Martin got in there right away and restrained Nene, but then you don't go and pump up the crowd. You would think he would be smarter than that after the Detroit-Indiana incident. And yeah, the ref talking to Sprewell and Camby was funny, it was something like: Ref: Now seriously you two I need you to stop it. Sprewell: Ah come on man we friends. Ref: I know you two are friends but no one else knows that. Sprewell and Camby: Man everyone knows we're friends. Ref: Please, just for my sake stop. There are 20,000 people in here that don't know that. Sprewell went off in this game. Great win!
I saw this! Man I thought that it was pretty funny because Nene was at least getting a couple of punches off. These two need to get suspended for about 7 games and let them think about how they are letting down their team by not playing. Hopefully, this will knock some sense into these guys to quit fighting and just play the game. I thought IMO that Kenyon should have got ejected too. He hit Kandi also and then was trying to act all bad by pumping up the crowd that was pretty dumb. I liked how Spree was taunting Camby that was pretty funny. Then the referee came over there and told them to quit playing around because the crowd doesnt know that they are friends..... Geez like DJ Plus said it made my night a little more intresting.
I agree both players need to get serious suspension time which is killer for my Nuggets because we need every player we have with all the injuries. I was to surprised though when i saw this because ther's some serious enmity(<-my humanities teacher would be so proud of me lol)between these two teams after last years physical playoff series.
I didn't see SC this morning (mad tired) but, it was really that bad? lol Those cats are like 7 feet and fighting like that? Anyways, in as much as all of the fighting going on lately, this is one of the best NBA seasons in a while.
It's pretty hard to fight with people holding you, but Nene would've killed Kandi, I don't know why one of the coaches didn't take them out of the game already, they were battling the whole game.
The only difference between this year and other years is the Big brawl in Detroit. Every year there are fights and other than the big one nothing different. Its all Hype dont let these writers fool you this is how they make money(Hyping up nonsence). ONE(love)

no offense but sometimes i enjoy i fight between the players. i liked that one last year between martin and maggete and the one with ewing and rose a few years ago. im sorry but sometimes i enjoy but not if someone gets hurt then i dont like it.no one will forget the pistons and pacers. sorry to anyone who hates fights betwenn players
