Quote:

Seattle -- Danny Fortson emerged from the Sonics' locker room, wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants, his jet-black hair knotted into those familiar dreadlocks. As he flashed a smile, his body was as relaxed and unintimidating as a 6-foot-8, 260-pound mass could be.

He basically says that the Warriors lied about him being injured and didn't want to use him.

Er, somebody should remind him that Murphy just overplayed him. That's why he never got mins in here. It's nice to see him finding a role in Seattle, but he just wasn't a good fit for either Warriors or Mavs, not to mention Boston or Denver...

Yeah no kidding. Jamison played some power forward too so that also decreased the use for him.

^ It's just who you trade and what you get. Look, who did we keep that we got in the NVE trade with Dallas, no one. We ripped ourselves off and for NVE all we got was Dale Davis. And he is hardly playing. We have idoits in the front office and no I do not mean St. Jean was an idiot. He was forced by Mullin to do this so he could let Dunleavy start

Air Pietrus, you could be right and you could be wrong. Nobody knows what the future holds for the W's. But for the most part, I'd say I agree with you that the front office is making questionable decisions and it leaves us with questions like, "they know more basketball than us fans? Charles Barkley can't even keep a straight face when he talked about the Warriors offseason. When the trade for Nick Van Exel went down and we lost Jamison and Welsch, I was like okay, cool, we got cap space and I liked NVE's game (he's exciting to watch when he's on and was great on the Mavs just like Najera). But man, when 3 of those 5 players in the trade were give to us injured and we ended up not keeping NVE in the end, that was just ridiculous. I know why we got rid of NVE, but it set us back temporarily because it meant we'd have to sign Fisher this year. It was like to me, NVE was the best point guard with vision of the court that we've had in a long time. Speedy is awesome, but NVE was a different type of point guard that you always had to be aware of in the 2nd half. I guess you could say that his trade to Portland opened it up more for Jrich to have the ball in his hands, but NVE had one of the complete packages in a point guard and he didn't mind coming off the bench. I mean forget Fisher. If we wanted an undersized 2 that can get everyone involved, we should have just stuck with NVE rather than Fisher. I guess the management is so afraid of Sprewell or Webber incidents, they'll grab the guy least likely to make the fuss with the least amount of talent it seems. I can't believe he's going to be here until his 13th-14th year in the league... [IMG]
