are there any big men that the Nets could get? That's all they need is a big man who can rebound and get it out to Carter and Jefferson and Kidd on teh break
probably M. Andriuskevicius whos 7'3" but hes going 2nd in draft but in mock draft they saying nets mite get Tiago Splitter PF 6'11". Tiago can shoot the ball so he mite help as a big man
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I like Chris Taft out of Pitt. But I would not be suprised if he is taken before our pick.</div> Thaft will get picked late 1st round so they can get a better player, and probably get thaft also if they trade and get another 1st rounder
Taft will likely be picked around # 10,he has tools but many thought he'd progress more. A trade down could get Lawrence Roberts or Channing Frye and they are likely to be more ready now,I really prefer the guys who have gotten results in major college competition to those who are supposed to have great upside but have yet to do much-I really hate to speculate on some of the very young, raw, but tall Euros who hardly anyone has seen, and who we can hardly find stats on
Truth Be Told, We All Know I'm Not High On Euro Players, But I Think A Guy That Would Fit Right Into What The Nets Could Use Would Be Johan Petro From France. He's A 7-0 250lb Jumping Jack With Outstanding Defense, Shot Blocking And Rebounding. He's A Ready To Play Now Guy Who Puts Up Nice Numbers. He's Been Playing Pro With Guys Like T. Parker And M. Peatrus And B. Diaw. With Kidd, Carter, And Jefferson, They Dont Need Scoring, Which Petro Can Do, But Can Concentrate On "d" And Rebounding, And He's The Kind Of Finisher In The Post Kidd Will Love Just Like He Did K-mart. He'd Be A Steal For The Nets If They Got Him Somewhere From 12-16 Which Is Where They'll Likely Fall In This Draft. My Second Options For Them Would Be Someone Like Roberts Aswell, But I'm Afraid He'll Fall To The Second Round.
inverse relationship the better the nets do the worse of a player they will get..... they are not going to get an immediate impact big man via the draft.
