Injured List

Lakers: Kobe Bryant, Devean George, Vlade Divac

    Key Matchup

    Matt Harpring vs. Caron Butler

With Kobe Bryant injured, Caron Butler will have to step up for the Lakers offensively. Both players can score, and will be hard to stop if they get going. The matchup is fairly even, so they will be looking to get on top of each other at both ends.

    Prediction

This should be a close game, both teams are without their best player. They're both desperate for a win, and it should be a phsyical encounter.

    Lakers 95 Jazz 93

The Lakers have suprisingly been playing well without Kobe...I think the Jazz will lose also. I wish this Jazz team could just find some consistency.

They are consistant, consistantly bad. Ok, that was corny but I just had to do that. On to the game tonight, this game is going to be tough as the Lakers are always tough to beat in the Staples Center. But I think the Jazz can pull this one out, or I hope they can. I'm going to say the Jazz by 7.

Not necessarily. Last week the Jazz beat the Spurs and Suns but lost to the Kings and Cavs. There is just no consistency there.

I know what you are saying, it was just too tempting to pass up. But it seems like we can't get a roll going in any game, I don't want to jinx us in this game with the Lakers, but we will play good for the first and second quarter and then have a huge slump in the 3rd and then we can't climb out of the hole in the fourth. I think if we would play the whole game the same, we would have won a lot of the games we played.

Nice win for the Jazz...first road win since the Philly game. Also the first road win vs. the Lakers since December of 2000. Raja was the man.

Yeah, we'll have Kirilenko Saturday. Expect limited minutes though.

    Jazz 102, Lakers 94

This was a good game from Utah, they played for the entire game and didn't throw it away in the 4th quarter. Raja Bell was playing great in the second half, and he made some clutch plays. Matt Harpring really led the way with 19 points, 7 boards and 6 assists. This game could've easily gone the other way, the Jazz are finally starting to show signs of direction as a team in the clutch. Raul Lopez had a good game with 9 assists in 25 minutes, Keith McLeod will have to pick up his game if he is too keep starting.

The long wait is nearly over, Andrei should be back for the next game [IMG] .
