You see the question, what's your answer? I say no, not yet.

i was watching TNT and kenny smith said you have to be dominant for 3 years in the nba...and you have to make it past the playoffs....I think LeBron isnt a superstar yet but he definetly will be in a couple of years.

Yes, he's a superstar in the sense of what he brings to the game be it on or off the court. He may be a top 5 player right now.

I would stop what I am doing to watch him play or to see his highlights.
When I watch him play I know that I am watching a player who is going to be great, that quality is unique in itself.
Whether you like him or not you know this is just the beginning of something special.

Lebron James may not be a superstar in terms of playoffs, wins etc ..... but we all know it is inevitable that he will turn into one of the greats.

One thing for sure : he is a most hyped player ever played the game so far. I think that makes him a superstar because in my mind stardom has nothing to do with your game - Vince Carter is a star but his game isn't so great anymore.

LeBron I think is still learning. Give him sometime maybe 2 years, then he`ll have that superstar name to him. But from what we have seen from him so far...no doubt he`s going to be big.

I am going to be pretty blunt, and just simply say, yes.

LeBron James is a superstar. He is playing very well for his team this year and is averaging 24.9 PPG which is Top 5 in PPG. He is the leagues most marketed player and he draws many fans. He is definently a superstar.

A superstar is defined in the league as a player that brings a lot to the table. Now, LeBron James is nowhere near my favorite player, but I must say he is certainly a superstar right now, he has the talent. When you look at the statistics that he is avering at the moment, his supreme (already global) popularity, and the way he has contributed in turning that Cavaliers team around, then you must really agree that he is a superstar. My opinion.

[IMG] LeBron James was always a superstar when he was younger, and will always be a superstar in his career. So far this season, James looks like one of the top MVP candidates in the league. As for that goes, he is also currently leading his team, the Cavaliers, into the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference. Averaging almost 25 points a game (5th in league), almost 3 steals a game (2nd in league), and third in the league with minutes played. That is why he is a superstar. He is only in his sophomore season, trying to develop a better team for the ages.

Also, James is a superstar not just because of talent, but of popularity. Nobody will forget the $90 million dollar deal from Nike which he got before he even stepped into a NBA regulation game. He has been getting offers from Sprite, Bubbalicious, Gatorade, and more. As for the All-Star game, LeBron is currently 2nd in the East Guards voting, just behind Allen Iverson, with 1,151,688 (and counting) votes.

So in conclusion, LeBron James was just basically born a superstar. Leading his high school team into 3 national championships, the Cavaliers were just smart drafting him.

Of course he's a superstar. He's completely turned around the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year, they barely made the playoffs but right now, they are the top team in the central division. Plus, Lebron has this huge fanbase which cheers him on almost every single game. He's entered the mainstream where almost everyone no who this guy is. Sure, he's still learning, but right now, he already brings the skills and energy that is required for a superstar.

Yes, Lebron is a superstar. Think of all the endorsements he's got and how he's changed the whole Cavs franchise around in 2 years! This kid is a superstar now and for several years to come.

LeBron is a superstar plain and simple. He's averaging 25/7/7, has is team 2nd in the East, and is selling out arenas every where he goes all in his second year. I don't care what Kenny and Charles say, LeBron is a superstar.

For those who say LeBron James is a superstar, I just want to clear up that Wade is too.
