<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SkiptoMyLue11:</div><div class="quote_post">Yea the last time we played new york, Crawford had 19, and he is coming off an injury and struggled in his last game. It would be unlikely for Crawford to go for more than 30. If Crawford proves to be back to his regular game shape he should be a hard defensive job for mo pete due to his quickness.</div>

mo's a good defender though, and he's done fairly good job vs opposing teams SG this season. i'm not too worried about Crawford.

    Houston for 50!

The matchup I'm wondering about is JYD and Eric Williams, two hustle players two strong defensive players. Who would win this?

Then when Jalen comes in, how will Jalen do against JYD? Will Jalen be able to post up and score on JYD like all those other SFs?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 02civic:</div><div class="quote_post">maybe so. But with the Knicks having one of the 5 worst defenses in the league saying they defend that position best doesnt carry as much weight. And besides...Bosh can explode, and he's been doing it has of late, so Kurt Thomas aside, Bosh could have a HUGE game.</div>
The Knicks perimeter defense is the worst. Kurt Thomas and you forgot to mention JYD (I know you guys are familiar with him), can give Bosh some trouble. JYD can match his quickness and muscle. Kurt Thomas gave the MVP Kevin Garnett a hard time! At the end, when it didn't count anymore, is when he really started making his shots, but he had him on lock. So, Bosh is very capable of having a nice decent game. But "huge" or "explode" I don't think so. It could happen though. "Impossible is an opinion."

Crawford just came back from his injury on Monday so I'm not expecting too much from him. Houston I think will have a pretty good game. I think Nazr will be able to play well today. He always seems to play well against the Raptors. Marbury can give him easy baskets, or he can score in the post. Nazr is much improved from last season and now he has a legit post game.

I think Jalen Rose might struggle against JYD. The strength, the quickness, height, and the hustle may cause him a bit of trouble. It should be a good game though. I think the Knicks will come out fighting however, I feel history will repeat itself as the Knicks win their 1st game ever against the Raptors.

JYD's probably a bit better on the boards but doenst have the hands and abilities of Eric Williams. Also on offense its an obvious advantage for the Raps.
They both hustle..i dare to say JYD hustles abit more, but that kid is crazy.

Jalen Rose and Donyell Marshall were on fire in the 4th!!! Great win for the Raptors. Bosh also broke Marshall's record for consecutive DD's tonight. The kids going to be something special.

Jalen Rose and Donyell won another game for us, 17 point blowout baby! Now you people see why we need Jalen? We didn't score for a while, we get the ball to Jalen and he makes 3 baskets in a row, he had like 7 AND 1's in the game and just played amazing.

Donyell was on fire for a second straight game, but man, they really won the game or us today. In other news, Bosh with his 9th straight double double.

wow...we pretty much just destroyed them in the fourth. knicks just looked flat and effortless in the final frame...and we capitalized, took advantage and went on a monster run. im glad we kept the effort up

rafer's D on starbury was pretty good imo. ball denial, and contesting his shots. not letting him get to wherever he wanted to go

that play close to the end of the game where JYD was all over jalen, being really physical, and jalen just went baseline, scored and 1...that was awesome. i was screaming lol.

another great win for the raps...man im not so sure we should be looking to trade anyone (other then maybe lammond murray)...this group is playing so well together right now. im lovin it

I meant ever in Franchise history. Back in 1946 or so.

Anyway, the Knicks defense in the 4th was pitiful. I don't see why JYD wasn't always on Rose. Lenny should have put JYD on Rose. Marbury also should have looked to score and penetrate more. I think the Knicks could have one this game but in the 4th was crucial. Good game guys [IMG]

You don't understand how many times me and my bro got up screaming at Jalen plays, the guy was a man on a mission which is how he's been since he's gone to the bench. He just played amazing, I don't know what to say. I loved all the AND 1's, he always get's the weirdest and 1 plays.

The Atlantic is so sad, the funny thing is that whoever the winner of the Atlantic is will probably lose to the 6th seed team which will be Indiana, Washington or Orlando, but who cares, if we win it we can brag that we were 3rd in the East.

I think that break we had after out road games really helped Bosh, the most noticable improvement was his free throw shooting, but his rebounding has become good since then, and every part of his game has improved. He still needs some defensive things, but he's been blocking shots even since then. It's like the rest revitalized all of our players.

i know eh? how in the hell does he finnish some of those plays??? its pretty impressive the way he finnishes around the basket after contact.

im really starting to think we should keep jalen. him and donyell add so much depth, skill, veteran play and even leadership on the floor...they way they've been playing, it would be hard to replace what they bring.

guys jalen dominated the game but his emotional outbursts are infantile. he's a very angry young man, the story is that he was estranged by his father, a professional basketball player and only met him in adulthood. jalen often compares his life in absolute, good and evil terms with grant hill. somebody should really write a biography about him, i'm fascinated by his life story. if guys have any details about his life, please share.

Dave Feschuk: Don't get too excited about the Raptors beating a struggling Knicks team, it's not much since they still haven't show much on the road. Even if they win the Atlantic now, it's no accomplishment because the Atlantic is garbage. Also Bosh only shot 4-14 and had 5 turnovers, he should leave the Raptors considering they can't get him easy basket and aren't getting him 20 shots

Haha true, I know you were one to also agree that he's a guy we need, even though he didn't and doesn't have defense, he's like our franchise player in terms of being the go to guy down the stretch.

guys did anyone notice that mo pete put up 14pts??? LOL! thats the quietest 14 points iv ever seen scored. it seemed like he barely got any clock tonight. i couldnt believe it when i read the box score...i thought it must have been a mistake lol. am i alone on this? does this kinda surprise anyone else?

another thing id like to point out is that bosh REALLY struggled with his offense tonight. 4-14. but even when he struggles, he still manages to have a great game. what a player [IMG]

Nice game. Rose and Marshall came up big yet again. Lamond Murray had a huge three right at the top of the key off Jalen Rose pass as well. I was almost certain that the final score was going to be like below 80 until Rose and Marshall started lighting it up. [IMG] Bring it on Hughes-less Wizards!
