Sorry for the lack of a preview everyone. I really thought someone else was going to do it. Anyway, we are only down by 1 and are playing very well defensively however, the fouling has been a problem. Halftime Knicks Leading Scorers: Nazr Mohammed: 10 Tim Thomas: 10 Jamal Crawford: 9 Raptors Leading Scorers: Chris Bosh: 10 Rafer Alston: 9 Morris Peterson: 9 Hot at the Half Nazr Mohammed always seems to play well against the Raptors. So far he has 10 points and is one rebound shy of a double double. The only thing is his foul trouble. He needs to stop his ill advised fouling because the Knicks success downlow will depend on him. Sweetney is in trouble as well so, Mohammed will need to play good defense and stop with his fouling. He has been making some nice moves in the post and was persistent on plays which is a plus for us. Final Prediction It is closer than I thought. I still see the Knicks wining this game at the end 87-82. Again they have so much to fight for and so much is at stake in this one game. Let's see what's in store for us in the second half.
Nice Quick to the point preview. I really like the way that Nazr has been playing this year. If it wasnt for him the Knicks would be hurting in the post. Does anyone think that he could be the MIP for the NBA?
What a suprise, we lose again. With a Celtics and Sixers winning we are 1 game back from the atlantic and with Houston on Friday, I feel us losing another one to them.
What more evidence does Isiah need then to just FIRE WILKENS!!! I can't see that. I really can't. What kind of defense was that anyway. We lost our division lead, we lost 8 of 9 and we Knick fan lost our temper. At least I did. We just need a change. Right now, Layden's Knicks are looking better. Isiah needs to get out of here, and Wilkens needs to get out of here. Celtics and Sxers won today, and we have Houston coming up. Houston is winnable but, it wont be easy. WHY is firing Lenny so hard, WHY is it even a question or even a choice, WHY doesn't Isiah listen to the Knick fans voice, Why the Knicks are so bad I try to tell them it's the coach son, And you know why they're making new 50's cause these overpaid scrubs have all the old ones THAT'S WHY I'm just so tight right now. Any time that happens though, I kill on the court the next day. History will repeat itself tommorow.
guys...you have a serious problem on your hands. his name is allan houston. his knee is really bothering him. you can see it out there...he's limping around, and his shots are falling short, which means his legs just arent in his jump shot. it just seems to be a matter of time before he goes down and misses a significant amount of the season again. he makes too much money, and nobody is gonna want to take on that crazy contract for a player thats for all intents and purposes damadged goods. this is gonna be a big problem for you guys

Allan Houston is just returning from a 9 months of no basketball. I think he should get some more time. He did manage to be 5-12 from the field which isn't too bad. But again, Houston is just returning. He has been errartic thus far, but that is to be expcted. If we don't see any major improvements by say in April or so, then I think we should cross this bridge, however, this still is only his 20th game and there is much more left in the season. For those who want to see Allan Houston's progress, go check out the 04-05 Allan Houston Stat Tracker Thread!
what worries me, and should worry you as well, is that he just returned and his knee isnt doing so well. its pretty obvious that hes a little gimpy out there. it was pretty obvious to the raptors announcers watching the game...it seemed obvious to pretty much everyone else. if he's just returning now, and he's already limping around the court, you've got problems. either way...healthy or not...a guy making 20 mill a year should be putting up at least 20, 5 and 5...not comming off the bench for 14 points on occasion. but hey...if you think houston isnt a concern, then thats cool i guess
We lost another one........why aint I surprised? Get Wilkins outa here and get 1 or 2 new faces into the team. Both of these things NEED to be done but they won't, I just know it. Rockets will destroy us, almost guaranteed.

Just to make a comment about the thread title: Nyk@tor, at first seemed to say: Knick hA-tor; I though that you, mrj18, turned in to Knick hater after tonight's game BTW, the Knicks really need to play defense.
Allan Houston's knee really was bothering him, I saw him limping multiple times throughout the game. He kind of hobbled off a couple pick and rolls. He didn't move without the ball at all. He missed 4 or 5 connsecutive shots in the 4th. He seemed like a liability for the Knicks. Nazr is probably has faster footwork than Houston .
After the clinic Rose put on, I honestly feel as if Isiah should go out and pull the trigger on that trade should it pop up again. Tim Thomas as usual was pitiful....ah who am I kidding the team was terrible with this collapse and 4th quarter let down. Down with Isiah! Down with Lenny!

Quoting Platehpus:

can we trade Marbury yet?
Isiah loves him. He's like his son. Marbury will not be going anytime soon!
Man, knowing Isiah after the Knicks past performances. You guys gotta know he is going to pull some kinda trigger soon. The question is, by doing what?
^^Not me. The Raps have been playing some good basketball at home. They have one of the best home records in the East.

Quoting ViBES?:

^^Not me.
Lol, TNG was being sarcastic. Oh well, this team pretty much sucks .
