For Starters: Raptors:
http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/jared_jeffries.jpg">
It It will be a close game but I predict the Raptors take this one by 6, 101-95.
great preview, although the raptors are on the road, the Wizards are without Hughes, and the way weve been playing, i think this game is a win... 96-87 Raptors
It's strange... Things seem to fall in place for the Raptors since the New Orleans game. Baron Davis goes down in the third quarter in that game, Kevin Garnett had a bum knee in Minnesota, Wizs are without Larry Hughes. Now only if Steve Nash stays out of lineup until the Raptors play them at ACC....
I usually don't post predictions when I think the Raps are going to lose, but I think they have too much firepower for us, especially at home. Wizards 106 Raptors 97 (I hope I'm Wrong)
I heard Jarvis Hayes would be starting in this game... I seriously thought we were going to be at home all this time for this game. We're on the road agaisnt a team that knows how to score, and can hurt us from different angles, this will be a tough one. I'm expecting Arenas to have 30+, he'll have his way with whoever we throw at him out of Rafer and MoPete, and should have a good game unless his shot is just really off in the game. Bosh vs Jamison is where we need to attack, Jamison is a terrible defender, and Bosh should be able to easily get 20+ on him. Unless they put Jamison on EDub, and Jared Jeffries on Bosh, Bosh should have an easy time. Defensively Bosh shouldn't have it to bad either because many times Jamison loves to go out and shoot long jumpers all day. Jamison hardly get's to the line, 4.1 attempts in like 39 minutes, so their's no threat for Bosh to get in foul trouble due to him. I'd like to have MoPete going hard on the road because if he does he can have his way with Jarvis Hayes, and Juan Dixon if he's on him. Jalen should also be able to take Jarvis Hayes, but I don't know how Jalen would fare against Jared Jeffries. Haywood is a guy that's very important to the Wizards defense, so if we can attack him and get him out of the game early it could help us a lot, he's big on the offensive glass, is a good defender, and can score inside. Araujo just needs to make sure he boxes him out. If Haywood is in the game against Marshall or Bonner it could be a problem. Man I hate road games, I see this getting high in the scoring department, and us losing it in the 4th. Wizards 110 - Raptors 104
I think the Raptors can pull this one out. I mean the Wizards have to go with a totally different strategy now that their main ball handler (Hughes) is injured. If the Raps can hit those outside jumpers and stretch defences enough for Bosh to get inside they can pull it out. Most have predicted a loss but I give the Raptors the benefit of the doubt. 110-100.
VinKanaddy, Jamison actually plays PF, Jared Jeffries is the SF, and I think I already mentioned, but Jarvis Hayes should be starting, not sure about that one though, but that's what I've heard. Anyways, I mirrored what you said too, Jared Jefferies matches up to Bosh well, but if they don't switch and leave Jamison on him, Bosh should be looking for a new career high.
I say Raptors win 97-90. Washington is struggling to replace Hughes presence on the court. Their chemistry obviously has been disrupted by his injury. I think the Raptors will take advantage of that. We can win if we can get some transition defense, because Washington has a good running team with Jamison as an athletic PF. Rafer also has to play tough D on Arenas, he has been known to explode, scoring in the 40s. I really wonder if Arujo will get back to playing simple relaxed basketball. No fancy fade away hooks, just a rebounding mentality with garbage points.

But since then Rose has been amazing posting up people and throwing quarterback passes crosscourt that usually results in an open trey.

I believe it is: PG: Arenas SG: Dixon SF: Hayes PF: Jamison C: Haywood
Yes you are wrong lol [sounds weird], Jared Jeffries has started 30 of 36 games this season, the only way he'd go to the bench was if Kwame returned fully healthy. It's official that Hayes is starting, Dixon is a player that can be a spark off the bench while Hayes is not. Hayes just comes in and jacks up shots, and would be better off starting and scoring in the flow of the offense as opposed to being played as an energy guy.
Quote:

Two blowouts losses have forced Eddie Jordan to make another lineup change to compensate for the loss of his best all-around player. At Thursday's practice, the coach inserted Jarvis Hayes at shooting guard and returned Juan Dixon to his customary role as sixth man.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-w...ov=ap&type=lgns
This is a game that would define the team's character. Although the lost Hughes, they still have some explosive offensive players. I don't see any body hanging with Chris if we feed him early. Same thing applies for Skip if he penetrates and not get into it with Arenas and start chucking up shots. Hayes will be starting instead of Dixon as Og mentioned above, so he'll try to contain Moe P and keep him off the paint. The Wizards have Etan Thomas back. Thomas has given us problems in the past, and I don't think Hoffa is confident enough to go at him offensivley so in my opinion this is a matchup advantage for Eddie Jordan, but when we have Marshall in, the matchup is ours 'cause neither Thomas nor Haywood want to come out and defend the three. I predict a close game. Hopefully we'll have enough poise to pull it out. Coin Flip: And it'ssssss....... Heads!! Which means Raps win

Check out the Dallas and San Antonio games, Dixon has been starting since Hughes came out. Hayes has been on the bench. So the actual line-up is: Arenas, Dixon, Jeffries, Jamison, Haywood.
I think the Raps will lose this one...even without Hughes cause they Wiz have great chemistry and usually play well gainst us. Nonetheless...Raps 104 Wiz 99 Bosh with 19, 14, 2 blocks...Marshall plays decent...Rafer lots of t.os and lots of jacked up shots, but good assists...3-pete with good d...Jalen with 21 and 5 assists

Their chemistry surprizingly seems shattered. They could do nothing, absolutely nothing to San Antonio. Arenas scored 3 points. Jamison scored 6...
