The Magic need to bounce back and win this game. Steve Francis VS. Allen Iverson should be a great matchup and it will be great to watch. I think the Magic have the advantage in all all areas except for point guard spot. I predict a 96-89 win for the Magic in this game.
Depends on if Hill plays. Without him it will be harder obviously, but if Stevie and Hedo step up again we could see a nice win.
Garrity is having a great game so far. 5-7 shooting, 3-3 beyond the arc in 5min and Turkoglu started the game hot too.. tough it seem strange to me that it says on nba.com that Turkoglu is on G position and DC on F ?
Davis said that he would start DC in Hill's position, and then let DC take some point responsiblities with Francis moving to 2guard to get more pts, but didnt look like that happened, prob more cos Dwight and Garrity were hot from the field and since Hedo was doing his 20pt game again made more sense to just let the things go on as they went, with Stevie and Jameer in point. Correct me if I am wrong, i missed the radio cast as I watched about 5hrs of 24 tonight
Our two rookies had really great games. I'm a bit disappointed that we had again a very bad night TOwise after some games where we kept them low. And DeClerq was out with the flu, hm, he was just activated and now he has the flu, great...
DC also had flu, but hes a fighter and played. Rookie wise I am once again really excited. Over the past 10 games(ish) Jameer is really starting to develop into a great backup point guard, and the little extra we get from him is also a factor in "the trade". 7 Steals from jameer is awsome, great D, also 12 pts, he also played 31 mins, although with Hill back on the rotation he will play less, he can still provide alot off the bench and shows that we still have another "unsung" scorer off the bench. Dwight showing that he isnt just about rebounds, and once again showed that if we wanted to, we have big 20pt scorer, in addition to them at SF, SG and PG. Just a good game from the bigs in general, with Cato also with nice points, I love seeing both PF and C putting up good points. Hedo once again showing why Davis cant drop him from the starting line up, when your starting SG whacks in 20pts you want him to keep doing that! Hopefully we see hill back again the rockets tommorrow, I am pretty sure he will be, 3 days rest on it should be enough, even if its just about 15-20mins game from him
^I still don't know how you can consider Hedo a SG, he's 6-10 compared to DC who is 6-6, and he's too slow to defend other SGs. In addition to that, all he brings to the table is scoring and a few rebounds but even Francis gets more rebounds. You can't call him a SG even though he starts at this position nowadays, but I'm pretty sure he played kind of SF while Hill was out and DC in, that's at least how ESPN listed him in the game.
hes playing at SG but cos of his size he will be either mis-matched or a SF will mark him. I consider him a SG cos thats where the team is playing him at thats all.
