Arroyo for elden cambell and a 2006 first round pick. definatly clearing room by joe D to let darko get some PT. Plus arroyo makes a very good backup to billups. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1972052
man, i wish houston would have put something together for that crazy puerto rican, i think he wouldve done well with the rockets.
I too wish the Rockets would've made a stab at Arroyo...Elden Campbell and a pick??? thats it?? The Rockets could've atleast offered Wesley or Howard or Mo Taylor...It doesnt make sense for the Pistons...I feel that Hunter fits their system a lot better as a backup but this may be his last season...as for utah, i dont even wanna know what they were thinking...they could've received so much more in return...
yeah what was houston thinking? they could have off loaded some un required guards to get Arroyo. dammit
Besides an expiring Mutombo who would the Jazz have taken for Arroyo? Houston did pursue Arroyo, but they simply didn't have a good enough package.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wesley:</div><div class="quote_post">Besides an expiring Mutombo who would the Jazz have taken for Arroyo? Well, the Nets claimed Elden Cambell off of the Utah Jazz waivers on Friday, and should be able to contribute off the bench for them. The story is located here: http://www.sportsline.com/nba/teams/transactions/NJ I believe that this was a good trade for the Pistons. Elden wasn't contributing well this year and Arroyo will give them some much needed bench scoring. Arroyo has played well in the games he has played with the Pistons and he really seems to fit in with the offense.
