22-22 at the end of the first quarter, I didn't realise there was no game thread for this, come on writing team we're getting slack!
My apologies, I kept getting 500 Internal Errors. Preview is now somewhere in cyber-space. Anyways. I'm thinking the Rockets take this one. Rockets: 97 Knicks: 90
Yao and McGrady seem to be doing real good at the moment. Both of them are in double digits in scoring. Strickland did good to get 3 assists in 6 minutes of play so far. I think we can get the W as the Knicks are on a losing streak as of now and we should capitilise on this advantage. I'd say that we'll win by at least 8 with Yao and TMac going for 20+ points each.
Wow, real close game right now. Rockets are down 88-91 with a minute and half to go in the game. Tracy McGrady and Yao are having great games, but the lack of a third offensive threat is really hurting us now. Scott Padgett has done a good job stepping up off the bench, but this is a game where we have to depend on the Big Two to pull us through. Hopefully, T-Mac will.
OMFG OMFG!!! Padgett With a Buzzer Beater!! We Win 92-91!!! This is beautiful payback from that Crawford one earlier this season!!!
YES!!! What a thrilling end to the game. Sweet, sweet revenge. We beat them with a buzzer beater of our own. Thank you Padgett! Scott played very good in todays game. He got 2 of 2 from both the 3 and the free throw line to score 12 points. Yao did very good too. Notched up a double double for the team with 22 and 12. TMac was just incredible yet again. 35, 6, 5 in todays game, he's just amazing. Looks like he's found his form again these past few games with his scoring. Very clutch performance from the team. A certified nail biter of a game. Strickland also contributed to the win with 4 assists in just 7 minutes of play. Keep this up and he'd be sweet. Great win for us. Clutch city indeed.
Oh man that was a tight one at the end. The Knicks came back in the fourth quarter, basically chipping away at the Rockets lead. In fact, they chipped it down to 91-90 Knicks lead with about ten seconds left to go on the clock. However, Padgett really came through for us tonight with a surprising twelve points and hit the last shot to give us the win. I really didn't expect it to be this close, but I guess a win is a win. McGrady had his usual scoring night, but I personally think he's jacking up way too many jumpers and three pointers, I mean he was 13-27 from the field. Not what I expected from someone like him. I don't know, he's just been off the few games, I guess he's not in his groove. However, I'm really loving Yao's performance tonight. 22 points with 12 rebounds. Great game for Yao, but he still had some foul trouble- 5 personal fouls. They really need to get some strategy involving him to get him out of the lane. Everyone else, well they had mediocre games. Sura is always off and on for some reason though. Last night he had a double double, close to a triple double, yet tonight he has just 7 points with 4 assists and 5 rebounds? What's up? I guess you can't really blame him though, he's still going through that knee injury. On a side note, what happened to Maurice Taylor? I never see him on the box scores and didn't see him play last night at Orlando. What is up? Does he have an injury or something or is it because there is a potential trade occuring...
I started screaming right when I saw that. Good lord, CLUTCH=Scott Padgett. Thank marbury for being stupid, and getting the shot clock volation.
Mo Taylor in a trade? Sounds very interesting. He might just be injured though. What's interesting is that we've been winning witout him. I still can't get the feeling of winning at the buzzer out of my system. It was just so awesome.
Yeah now that i'm calm i'll talk sensibly, I went crazy when I saw that he made shot, the whole team played well, Yao even hit a 19 ft jumpshot! heres the boxscore and Yao's jumpshot location thingy...
Great win. I personally feel that it was a good move by Van Gundy with 10 seconds left to sub Padgett in for Howard. He was the guy that won us the game. And Aznxballer, 13-27 for a guard is not bad at all, from a box-score view. That's better than 48%, which is very good for a guard already.
Wow. You guys won. Padgett made that shot for you guys. I wish it wasn't a buzzer beater but, rather a game winner. It just deflates my spirits even more! Anyways, good game Btw, Adrenaline Padgett=LUCK

Forgot to calculate the percent before posting. But yeah, 48%- totally great for McGrady. In fact, its really better than some of his recent shooter percentages, like last nights Orlando's game, but of course that was understandable since a stadium full of people were booing him. If he keeps this up, I think it would improve the Yao and McGrady system and maybe add a little more pressure onto the teams. But that thing about Taylor not on the box score is really bothering me, just look up onto Dan Le's post. It can be some error on ESPN, but does anyone else notice it? EDIT: NVM, he's injured. Just got my hopes up for a trade.
Seems like Taylor didn't play. Van Gundy has probably moved Padgett ahead of him in the rotation. Not necessarily a bad thing though, although this might seriously decrease whatever trade value Mo had.

Great win by the Rockets. It almost coincides with the last match scores. Good thing Padgett didn't think twice about not taking the shot like what Marbury and Crawford did which cause them the game. A sweet revenge. Poor Lenny Wilkens it forced him to resign coaching after the game. BTW Yao has been making long distance shots lately. He made one the other night at Orlando and one tonight. He used to do that a lot in China. I think he's a good 3 popint shooter too when he played with the Shanghai Sharks. He'll be hard to stop if he continues to do that provided we have a PF who rebounds well in case he misses.

Taylor was put on the injured list for a little flu which puts him on the injured list for a minimum of 5 games; this gives padgett more minutes which is a good thing. I don't mind Padge taking taylor's minutes..padge shows more hustle on both ends of the court..taylor never seems to learn on the defensive end.
damn I missed the game (went out last night), but sounds like it was exciting......I've always been a fan of padgetts since his days at kentucky, I always thought he played hard and smart (can't say that about Mo)........but great win for the rockets, now lets continue it on Monday!!!
Does Mo Taylor really have the flu? Local sports radio guys are talking about it like its just a charade because Taylor didn't want to play or something. Hey, I'm perfectly fine with that. I've been wanting Padgett to get more minutes all season anyways. I wonder if the Rockets went to Mo and told him he was about to be benched?
