Anybody else notice that Jason Kidd doesn't do the kiss to the rim anymore when shooting freethrows? Why?
i noticed that but i dont why. without that kiss he is shooting worser freethrows. i guess that kiss is like good luck i wonder why he doesnt do it anymore
It's weird that you ask that because I was wondering that the other night myself. It has become a trademark of his. I also noticed that he doesn't throw his wristband into the stands after games anymore.
The kiss was to his wife and son. It became a habit for him. Jason is getting older and I don't think his heart is in New Jersey or the game. It's really sad when you think about it. I used to love watching Kidd play in 2003 but when Martin left it took away his running mate. I hadn't really noticed that he stopped doing the kiss at the stripe.

I was just adding the part about his heart not being in New Jersey.
Nah, Jason Kidd seems like he likes playing in New Jersey, even more since VC came months ago. He seems to enjoy playing with him. When RJ comes back in the future and the Nets make a few trading moves, they'll be back in it. But still, I've noticed Kidd did shoot better freethrows with the kiss. Ah well.
the funniest guy is Marx Jackson(the PG),i remmember him raising his hand before the FT in order to check the state of the wind, what BS...
he wasn't checking for wind, he was making an imaginary ring to shoot the ball through for better arc and precision. its not BS, well at least for Mark its not.
