    Is he the real deal? He seems to be a big reason for the Lakers success in the absence of Kobe Bryant. Running the floor, shooting the 3 with accuracy, and dishing those passes.

    Yes, its Chucky Atkins and Caron Butler more than anything. Even more than Lamar, surprisingly. Not saying Lamar doesn't help, he's just third right now - if that makes sense. I mean he has made some clutch shots for us, he's just incosistent.

    That's for sure. I hate looking at the boxscore and seeing the Lakers shooting more 3s than FTs.

    Chucky Atkins has always been a streaky offensive player. He's been a big reason for our last two wins, but I still think the Lakers are better off with a more defensive minded PG. Rudy T has allowed him to play loose and push the ball, but in the playoffs, that style isn't going to work. Also he's been doing it against backup pointguards, Anthony Carter & Derek Fisher. It would be great if he can keep it going with Kobe out, but I'm not sold on him yet as the solution for PG.
