<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Man, I like Jared Jeffries though, the Artest for Kwame and Samaki was on RealGM, the WIzards do need perimeter defense, and with Arenas defense improving, Hughes defense, and Artest, that's on crazy backcourt defense.

Kwame and JO in Indiana would be pretty scary though, they're buddies, and that would be a defensive beastly frontcourt.</div>

Thats were I got the trade idea, thought I would pitch it over here..

Yes a trio of Arenas, Hughes, and Artest would be one sick defensive trio...

Jermaine would teach Kwame a lot of things and I really think they would become the next set of twin towers.

I don't like either of those trades. I like what they have now, except they need some low post scoring and defense. They don't need someone who'll demand the ball, or be a problem on the team, or want touches, or want to be the leader. They have Arenas, Hughes and Jamison for all that stuff.

And if only Kwame would get back from injury, and really put some effort into getting just a bit better, they could really be a great team. Kwame can give you that bit of low post scoring and low post defense. He is what they need, and he'll be OK being the 4th option.

I trust Ernie though. Think about it - he's missed the playoffs one season, ever, and that was last year with a heap of injuries and a team he inherited, and didn't have time to really fix up. And now they're back in the playoff race. I think he's really proven himself as one of the top GMs in the league.

    Trading Kwame

Lets be smart here guys this is the first time in 20 years the Wizards have done any thing half way decent, now everyone wants to trade away a possible superstar for a Jamaal Magloire or a Pedrag Drobnak come on. Anyone ever hear of delayed gratification? Sure Magloire might help us now, look ahead 3-5 years who do you think will be better Brown or Magloire. We have a good team now without Kwame, lets continue to build with the team we have and let Kwame get in where he fits in for right now until he is ready to take over the reigns and show us why he is worthy of being picked #1 overall. lol @ Drobnjak, but though I don't think Kwame will be a superstar, he can be an All-Star, and especially won't be a superstar on the Wizards, I'm not too keen on trading him.

Jamison is a great locker room guy, and has been very important to this team off the court, but on the court, he's a liablity playing PF. Etan Thomas can block shots, but he's always going for blocks, and get's out of position, allowing offensive rebounds, and his man to man defense isn't that good because he's too short at center, and too slow at PF.

Imagine how good this team would be with a health Kwame? We could move Jamison to SF where he's no more of a defensive liability than he is at PF, and maybe it will help him get his FG% up playing against smaller players.

I would love to have Kwame go to the Warriors. What would it take to get him here? You have no need for a Dunleavy type player. Maybe Pietrus would be good for you guys but the salaries are not even close. I would say Dunleavy and a 2nd round pick or maybe a player like Najera...

Pietrus is the only gut the Wizards would want because of his defensive abilities and athleticism, Dunleavy wouldn't even be thought of at all.

Yeah, I hear ya there. Its funny. Dont you think Mullin would realize that Dunleavy sucks if no one wants him in a trade? [IMG]

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kobe 8 Ball:</div><div class="quote_post">I really don't believe PJ is in our future. Brendan Haywood is an above average center. He has improved his offensive game and is a very underrated defender. I just don't see PJR in our future..

Now lets get back on topic, Any other deals involving Kwame?</div> When PJ Ramos make it to the NBA late last year he was physically ready but he did'nt know the NBA system he was place on the injure list [IMG] but he kept practicing with the team, gain 20 pounds since then he is now 293 pounds and a 1 inch biger 7'4 he improve a lot specially on defense and rebounding ability,he also is lot more faster, can't wait to see him play, we need him, PJ Ramos is the player with the Physical abilities to stop Shak on the Playoff race, he look good at the start of the season when he play against him, so with the improvement on his game and some playing time PJ got a bright future on the NBA and who know maybe can be in a near future an All-star quality player.

    Hmm...

    PG- Gil Arenas
    SG- Larry Hughes
    SF- Ron Artest
    PF- Antawn Jamison
    C- Haywood

That would be a beast team for sure. Kwame (K-WHAM-eee) has untapped talent...just jordan scared him too bad (called him a "flaming fa44et") and got down on him, made him cry...but anyways, Kwame has potential and is capable of scoring 18+ and grabbing 13+ boards on a given night IF he would just snap out of it and get angry. He plays like a kid, i know hes young but come on man! hes been in the league a few years now, there is no excuse.

Dealing him should have been done a while back but right now getting a decent big man for him would suit the wiz kids greatly. I like kwame and find myself pushing for the kid but its time for the ying yang twin to be moved, or establish himself.

I doubt Kwame's trade value is high enough to nab a player like Artest, and i highly doubt Atlanta would trade a Childress so soon after being drafted high by them.
What about Kwame to the Knicks for Sweetney?

The Jordan thing is done with him, the only problem this season was that he's been injured. Kwame was a 13 points | 8 rebounds player last season as a starter, and he's a Top 15 defender at his position because he's a very good man to man defender.

He's no kid anymore, Kwame is a big boy now, he just got uunlucky this season and had injury problems. He worked out with JO in the summer, and he also bulked up to 275-280 lbs, but he got injured working out before the season started.

I think that he has shown some real promise. He has a good work ethic and i think had it not been for injuries, he may have suprised some people this season. Good big men are hard to find and while he has taken a little longer to develop than they first thought, i would keep him around. Let him get back this season, get some game time under his belt and next season he will come back a better player for it. I could see him as an 18 and 12 kind of guy towards the end of this season and next season. He does have the necessary skills, just needs to get a little lucky with the breaks thats all.
