<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple Fever:</div><div class="quote_post">Raps got 99 problems, and shooting ain't one! We don't have low post presence, nor interior toughness, rebounding has been a problem in many games and our late game defence has been a problem for a while now, but shooting was the only thing we could hang our heads on 'cause it's been there for the majority of the time (although sometimes we die by the 3). We make thos shots on consitent basis, it's other problems that we encounter that costs us games. That game wasn't nearly our best game of the season!</div> The Raptors might be a good shooting team. But, their offense is by no means close to the shooting of the Sonics. Meaning you will have some good shooters but not great shooters. You have some good shooters on the Raptors but anytime you have them making just about every single shot, then it is because there hot. No team makes all of their shots, and the Raptors don't do it on a consistent basis. If they did, they would have at least 30 wins right now.

That alone shows just exactly how much you know about shooting. Just because he doesn't jump, or like you say "barely jumps", it doesn't mean that he doesn't use his legs when he's shooting. If you are going to argue with me, just go out on the court, get a drum full of wet cement, plant your legs in there and try to shoot the ball. You'll get the point. That's why you often hear analysts or shooting coaches point at a certain player and say "he didn't have his legs under him when he shot that ball". 90% of shooting comes from your legs, period. The point? If you are going to say something like "Thomas barely jumps or uses his legs when he shoots," you shouldn't be talking about shooting.
Easy people, the Raptors shoot good at home, MoPete made 7 mostly contested three's agaisnt Boston, he made a mid-court heave. Marshall made three's with Garnett and Eddie Griffin flying at him, that's all he really ever makes. The Raptors shot 45.5% against the Knicks last time, and 52.4% the first time. Even in the loss we shot 46.3%. The Raptors shoot 45.4% at home for the season, no big deal. Well that's the end of that.... 02civic don't make a thread like this again, no need to call people out.
<font color="Red">All that needs to be said in this thread has been said. I am now closing this thread. But before I do let me just say that it is a bit disappointing to see some of our veteran Justbball members going on like this, clean it up fellas. And please do not make topics like this again</font>-Henacy
