We are literally just coming up on the season half way point (Tuesday night @ Memphis we hit 41). So ofcourse we have to have a little discussion of how the season is going so far.

    Heres a little run down-
    04-05 - 22-17 (6th in East)
    03-04 - 21-61 (29th in NBA)

    Season Summary-
Worst Loss's - The 2 loss's against Boston. Both big beatings and definatly hurt some Magic pride
Best Win's - I'd have to say this boils down to beating San Antonio in December off the back of the long road trip or the recent game vs Detroit, since we fought back so much. This is one for everyone to discuss.

    Best Magic Features -
Rebounds. One of the best rebounding teams in the league. Thanks muchly to Dwight, Cato and Battie, who are just awsome on the boards so far.
Offense. We score, and usually alot. We have alot of players now hitting season highs and nearing career highs (Hedo, stevie, hill, Dwight namely)
    Worst Magic Features -
Defense. This might be sorted soon, once DC really gets into the fray, but thus far it has really lost us a good few games.
Turnonvers - This is a massive reason why we lost early games, although, like defense, is making a upward turn for the better.

Has this Season been Possitive? -

Hell YEAH!. We have already beaten our season wins, dropping 17 games in the process, rather than 60 games. We have Hill back, a awsome future rookie (Dwight, who is great now) and a rookie that looks to develop into a great point guard, and gives us plenty of options, espcially in the next 1 or 2 years (Jameer).
We have seen trades that hugely benefit the franchise (Rockets basically) and a intersting if controversial one in Cat for DC. But the future is looking good again.

    This season-

I expect to carry on much as we are, and to finish around 45 - 35 area. Hopefully this will see us with around 5th or 6th in the playoff's (I want 6th if we cant get 4th or better, face that weak division!).
