<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PHOENIX, Jan. 23 (Ticker) -- After a highly competitive first half, the Phoenix Suns' high-octane offense proved to much for the New Jersey Nets. Amare Stoudemire scored 33 points and Steve Nash added a season-high 30 as the Suns snapped a season-high six-game losing streak with a 113-105 victory over the Nets. </div> Link (NBA.com) Steve Nash scored 30, meaning that the Suns have five starters that have all had a 30-point game this year. Amare has one every other day, Marion had 35 against the Spurs, Q-Rich had his season high 37 points against the Blazers, and Joe Johnson had 30 against Utah. A well-balanced Suns starting lineup. Jim Jackson also made his first appearance in a Suns uniform; he played a bench high 17 minutes but having only 2 points. The Suns bench scored a grand total of 5 points last night, led by Steven Hunter who had 3 points, and 2 blocks in only 9 minutes. The recently added Suns, Paul Shirly and Smush Parker did not play last night because of a coaches decision. The Suns will have to travel to New York, where they play their next game against the Knicks.
Good win, hope they use it to pick up steam for the upcoming brutal roadtrip. Hope Jim Jackson plays a bigger role on the road trip.
