Bad loss, it was pretty much over at halftime after eddie jones hit the buzzer. Shaq as usual had a huge game with 33 and 18, but eddie had a good game as well. We missed alot of open shots and really played bad defense. Oh well, we'll just have to try and get a win at charlotte.

Well actually against Udonis Haslem, the amount of foul shots attempted in this game was just disgusting, their was a foul every other second. We really didn't play well, Shaq just killed us, and Eddie Jones responded today with a good game.

    On to Charlotte...

Horrible game tonight.... Miami just walked all over us.

    Game notes:
    - I think we should've got Aaron Williams involved a lot sooner. He did a good job in containing Shaq (well, for Raptor standards at least) and had he been given more playing time, we could've had a better chance at winning the game.
    - Bonner has been struggling these past few games.... and as much as I like the guy, maybe it's best we place him on the IR so we could give Pape Sow some playing time.
    - I don't see the purpose in starting EWill if he doesn't contribute anything at all. He was brought in for his defense but so far he's been an average defender w/ a mediocre offensive game.
    - Alston had a good game with a career high 29 points, but I'm still not impressed with some of his on-court antics, such as the 3-ball chucking and reverting to his streetballing style.
    - Bosh getting his 3rd foul early in the game really killed it for us because he was on fire at that point.
    - We REALLY need to quit it with all the long distant shots.....

What was Bonner going like 1-4 from the line all about, the guy was very unhappy today, but it seemed like Miami was closing him out quickly so he couldn't get open shots. He was so disheartened when he missed the 2 free throws in a row.

I don't think it had much to do with Miami closing out on him. He just passed out on open jumpers and instead tried to go to the bucket for some reason. So Bosh scores his career high with 27 and we lose but still the record is 10-1 when he scores 20 or more and 0-20 when Raps allow 100 or more points.

I have 3 reason why we couldn't win that game.
    1. Man, Jalen and Mo Pete could not hit a shot out there.
    2. Bosh picked up his 3rd foul as soon as he came on to the court in the 2nd. He would have been useful after a great 1st Q.
    3. Anyone notice that even when the Heat were up 15-18 points in the 4th with 6 min left they were playing Shaq and Wade. They were afraid of us coming back. I believe Shaq was in the game even with less than minute.

It seemed like Haslem was getting to him, and instead of passing the ball, he would try to drive which was extremely unsucesful

raps shoot way too many 3's

all of our players who have been consistant lately had a really off night...jalen was 4-11, mo pete was 4-14, bonner was 1-4, lammond was 1-4...we were just missing shots left right and center. live by the jumper, die by the jumper. mo pete was even missing free throws...that doesnt happen too often

    horrible game...

    but...

it's great seeing bosh, the future franchise player, taking a hard fowl in the fourth quarter and bouncing right back up...and he fell hard on the court, i thought he may have fractured his hand the way he fell, but, no dramatics, no 5 mins to get up, no leaving the game...he bounced up and walked it off...that shows his toughness...

i'm not playa hating on carter, but i have never seen him walk a hit off, or even try to, ...being the gifted player that he is, we never saw the grit that players like bosh, iverson, lebron has...

Man, Toronto does shoot too many 3s. They run the same pick and roll play over and over again, seeing a open man in the pocket. It's good if we're on our shots that game, but if we're off... well you saw against Miami.

GG by Bosh... he is the franchise. Without him we'd be worse than NO.
