<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Because the call turned out to be a hoax, the Sonics could joke Monday about the bomb threat that forced the evacuation of KeyArena minutes after Sunday's game with Utah.

And, yes, there were a few smiles.

Ray Allen told how the players were in the locker room, some sitting at their cubicles and others already in the showers, when trainer Mike Shimensky made the announcement. Because Shimensky was deliberately keeping his voice calm, Allen said, "we were listening to him like he was going to tell us there was no practice (on Monday) or something, and then he says, 'There's a bomb threat.'"

Picture immediate pandemonium. Though Shimensky tried to put them at ease - "He was like, 'Guys, don't panic,'" Allen said - these multimillion-dollar athletes became like school children in a fire drill.</div><u>Link</u>

I found it hilarious how Ronald Murray went into the showers and started screaming "Bomb Threat!! Bomb Threat!!"

I guess it don't matter how much cash you have, when in the face of danger everyone acts like little girls every now and then.[IMG]

Well that is still pretty scary. Reminds me of the pepper spray incident that happened a few years ago

Apparently Luke rushed straight out without answering questions, while AD fielded all the media in front of his locker while he slowly got dressed and made his way out casually [IMG]

I was hoping that no one was going to make a thread out of this.

When it comes to things like a bomb threat, I would hope that one wouldn't wait around to call someone's bluff. Cash has nothing to do w/ this. When a building blows up, if you are in it, you're a dead duck.

I still wish it wasn't Flip that was the one who they pointed out as panicking. My man (jokingly) sent me an email today saying that the Everett Herald implied that Flip was pu**y. I guess the Seattle media was waiting to see what it would take for the Philly native to break.

All in all, the sh*t is funny though.
