    The main word there killed is in past tense. They'll not make it far without packers.

    I think you will find that most people here dont put a lot of stock in titles until the merger....in the early years, there was no draft, teams just signed whoever they wanted, so there was no competitive balance....winning titles in that environment is all but meaningless....they do have 3 titles since the merger though, and 1 while you were alive, thats alot less than a lot of teams, but its more than others, be thankful for the ones you have, because there is no guarantee you will get another anytimes soon, and jugding by the defense they trot on the field, they wont likely be winning another this decade....

    Minnesotta has had a lot of good teams though. I still cannot believe that '98 team lost to the Falcons. I would give anything to watch the Broncos - Vikings Super Bowl, would have been one of the best ever.
