It's about time! Penny does have legit beef along with Baker, and now with all of our injuries, we have Penny back. He is a solid versatile veteran who we will need if we want to become a successful team. I am Ariza played great for us (especially yesterday) but, Ariza is still young and a role model and former NBA superstar will give Ariza someone to look up to. I'm not saying something like take all of away Trevor's minutes, I just think Hardaway should get some minutes.

I know Penny(the poster) you're ecstatic! I'm happy too. It will give us more depth and the experience that we need. This is a valuable pickup for us. Although we got Penny from his "injury" we still need a shutdown perimeter defender. Anyways, good thing for us. We can use all the help that we can get!

You know me too well now ........ haha.

Anyways this is great news! I hope Penny Hardaway comes out and plays with a chip on his shoulder, he has alot to prove and if given time I am qute confident he will help the struggling New York Knicks out of their slump.

Outside of Stephon Marbury, there really isn't any other play makers out on the court, and whether Penny Hardaway gets into the starting line-up or adequate time off the bench (like he should get, especially now) he can take a huge load off Stephon Marbury and not only create shots for himself, but for Allan Houston, Stephon Marbury, Jamal Crawford, Kurt Thomas, etc .........

If Penny Hardaway gets time, I am quite sure we will see the end of this losing streak not because Penny Hardaway will carry the New York Knicks on his back, but because he makes the game so much easier for everyone around him. I know Stephon Marbury will be loving this news as much as me.

5 major knee surgeries will do that to you.

Don't count him out so quickly, Penny Hardaway can still play this game, he is a great play maker, has solid court sense and a high level of basketball IQ. He just knows how to play the game.

Back in the 2000 NBA Playoffs he single handedly led the Phoenix Suns past the defending champions San Antonio Spurs, one game having a triple double, then in their series loss to the LA Lakers, Penny Hardaway averaged 25ppg, outplaying Kobe Bryant.

I agree with what Penny Hardaway said about his strong play.
(Paraphrased) "The only difference now then before is that the plays run through me, rather than someone else."
