Collins awoke Monday morning with the injury and was only able to play 14 minutes on Tuesday. "It was sore and I thought it would go away with the day off and it didn't," Collins told the New York Post. "We'll do everything we can to try to calm the symptoms down. It's a tendon, in the back of the knee." He will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.</div> Source
WOW that is bad luck, lol, next hting you know Jason Kidd goes down.. im telling you, Vince Carter is bad luck, luckily for you guys hes day to day
^No Derfz, people have been dropping like flies so far this season, way before Vince got here. The problem is alot of these guys are playing the most minutes of their career and shouldering alot of load due to our lack of depth. So alot of these guys are playing thru fatigue and small injuries which makes them more accessable to getting a serious injury. JC is the first victim of the road trip. I feared that someone would go down. Anyway, this puts alot more pressure on Nenad, now. I think without Collins in the lineup he will find it even harder to stay out of foul trouble. Jabari can play well during stretches but man are we in need of some legit big bodies.
Don't be worry, we still have B.Scalabrine who scored 29 against warriors today. In fact, I prefer Scalabrine replaces Collins in the PF starting postition.

The Warriors have no bigs who can score with their backs to the basket, so you didnt see Scali or Nenad get caught to much having to defend in post up situations. But against good teams that lack of size is going to be really exposed. Collins isnt great we know that but defensively at times he can use his size effectively in defending the post. And even tho he has never been a great defender due to our frontline depleation this year, he has been the guy we have thrown on other teams best big defensively. Now, Krstic is will have to play alot more on ball post defense because Scali doesnt have the size to deal with legit 4's & 5's in this league. But Scali is definately going to bring more versalty to our offense cause he has shooting range, can put the ball on the floor against bigger players. And like Collins he is an excellent passer out of the high post even tho he takes alot more risks with his mindset of trying to make the difficult pass sometimes.
i might catch flack for this but... I think Scalibrine should have been starting anyway, hes a very capable scorer, underrated.

So, Nenad defense, and Scali offense, it is not really a bad situation, if Scali still does like that game, although warriors have no legit big man, but I hope Scali could find they way to score, it is ok.
