Ben Wallace finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Rasheed Wallace added 13 points and seven rebounds and Tayshaun Prince scored 16 points and had seven rebounds primarily against Stephen Jackson, who is trying to get back into game shape after serving a 30-game suspension for his role in the brawl. It was just Jackson's second game back. When Rasheed Wallace walked to the bench for the last time Thursday night and delivered a blunt statement to the Indiana Pacers and their fans. "They can't beat us," he screamed.</div> Recap Strong effort by the Pistons last night, did a good job defensively on the Pacer guards and made Jermaine O'Neal work hard for his points. The game never really was in doubt and Pistons always answered every little run the Pacers tried to make. Maybe the Pistons are starting to get that defensive drive back, last two teams faced- Denver scored 70 (33% shooting) and Indy scored 76 (40% shooting) Looking at the Pistons schedule heading into february on paper It looks very easy and anything less than 9-1 would be a huge dissapointment. So feb is a big chance for the Pistons to jump back to first in the central.
I would circle any games next month as a guarenteed victory. I know it' s an easy schedule but this team is very schezophreniac.
I would love to see the Pistons back in first place in the Central Division, but, they have been inconsistent with their defense. They have been improving lately, so, hopefully they will be able to climb past the Cavs or at least distance themselves some from the hot Bulls.
