Terrible news for the Lakers. The Lakers will be on a 5 game road trip without Kobe now, they are struggling to win at home, so this could be a disastorous stretch for them. Houston, Atlanta, New Jersey, Detroit, & Cleveland
If the Lakers can pull off about a .500 record until he's back, then we'll be in good shape. However, it's quite distressing to see teams like Memphis, Houston, and Minnesota pick up steam, while the Lakers are stuck on neutral ... Lakers are going to need some help if they plan to remain in the top 8 when it's kobe's time to return.
This will make or break our season IMO..like nMg said..if we can go .500 then I believe we can still make the playoff's..if we aren't close to .500...start looking for players to scout.

One side of me is desperately wanting Kobe to come back and the other side of me wants him to take his time and heal up. But I will say this: he should definitely skip the all-star game, even despite as fun as it would be to watch him in it.
