We can't bring this same style on the road, even against the Bobcats. We have to feed the post more and often and start the offence inside out. - Put 'Em Away: Can't let the Bobcats feel they can win the game by letting them hang around. Raps need to come strong and have the killed instinct to blow the game out. - Rebound 'n Run: Charlotte are coming off a back-to-back with the Bulls last night. Dominate the boards, which is something this team is unfimiliar with, and run run run. We'll get easy baskets if we play our style and not let an exapntion team dictate the tempo. .... <font color="Red">Say What?! (Prediction)</font> Coming off a beating against Shaq and the Heat on Wednsday, Raps have to get this game considering that they got the Suns awaiting for them on Sunday. Raps win 101-88. </div> <div align="center"> </div>
i think we have to win this in order to still b in the race, we dont want to be on a 3 game slide to end january
We should win this one hopefully, but Charlotte is much better at home, even though that doesn't say much.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn, I wanted Rose to get 6MOY. </div> how much games does he have to play off the bench?
49-48 raps at the half, a decent start with donyell contributing off the bench but mo pete's road woes continue, 0-7 from the field so we'll have to get him going in the 2nd half.
damn, mo pete is a different player when he's playing road games ...... then again, that can be said about the whole team ..... just look at our road record .... anyway, come on raps.
Wow, how can we not score against this team. We looked lost in the fourth quarter. Milt Palacio was out there for too long too. Dissapointing lost, I was kind of expecting it though. 0 points from Mo...You guys hopped on his bandwagon to quick.
yup, very dissapointing but when one of your main scorers struggle like mo did you kinda expect a bad game. But our turnovers pretty much costed us the game down the stretch.
Rafers got to stop the crossover sh*t, and just dribble normally. I mean he was just sitting their dribbling between his legs, and he lost control and it went out of bounds. I'm pretty happy still, because the 'Cats won and snapped that damn losing streak.
Tough loss for Toronto while they sink in the standings and NY got a win tonight. They should have beaten the Bobcats but, they just didn't take advantage. Chris Bosh wasn't shooting too well, and Morris Peterson had an awful game. Kareem Rush also seemed to play well. The Raptors just shot 42% and the Bobcats 47%. It looked close at half time but, the 10 point Bobcat difference in the 4th quarter proved be what got them the W.
There will be no playoffs this year unless raps win some road games. Bring on the trades and draft picks. Rebuilding should be in 100% full motion. next 7 games raps will face: Phoenix @ Indiana Washington Dallas @ Cleveland Milwaukee Philadelphia I can see raps going 2-5 and ruining any chance left of making the playoffs. Another dissappointing year ....
I think the Raps make it a point to make scrubs look like all-stars..... Mo Pete with 0 points, Alston with 2 assists, and Bosh with only 5 rebounds in 40 minutes..... with numbers like that I don't think we should've deserved a win had we won the game. We could talk about the fourth quarter turnovers or the questionable officiating.... but we shouldn't have even been struggling to beat the Bobcats especially when they're playing in the tail end of a back-to-back. Horrible game....
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notorious_fh:</div><div class="quote_post"> next 7 games raps will face: Phoenix @ Indiana Washington Dallas @ Cleveland Milwaukee Philadelphia Another dissappointing year .... </div> During this stretch, I see the Raptors going 0-7 and making a huge sink in the standings. Although the division is weak, there are still many teams in the hunt. The only thing different about the Raptors is they don't have the flexibility that teams like The Knicks have. I mean the Knicks lost 7 in a row but, they are still only a game behind 1st. I think this stretch will become what makes the season just another dissapointing year like what was stated above.
What do u mean by flexibility? Everyteam starts out 0-0..and plus if the Knicks lost their next 7 games...it would most likely make their season a disaapointing year.
