Just thought I'd point out that after the Superbowl due to the NHL Lockout, it's pretty much all basketball highlights. I mean it will take a little bit for people to get the Superbowl out their systeam and rightly so, but for the next couple of months, the only thing on SportsCenter will pretty much be basketball basketball and oh yeah, more basketball. Turn on the radio just basketball and basketball pretty much. Let's enjoy this. I know some of you guys like other sports but, basketball is #1 for you guys right?
So much basketball being played, so little attention on sportscenter. Not only are you other sports fans going to watch it,you'll watch it and like it! Thats right, basketball will turn into the summer baseball of sportscenter and sports radio. You can never get away from it.Oh whats that? What did you say? You want to hear about off season acquisitions for baseball?Well youre going to have to suck down a heaping 30-45 minutes of basketball first.Yummmm.
There is a good chance that the NHL Lockout will continue next season. Both sides are so far apart and not willing to make changes in their proposals.

I don't know if it is just me, but when hockey was up and running, did anyone else get sick of six of the top ten highlights being hockey? Oh, that is sad.
I for one did. All you heard was Sjdjagufgsuiydf with the wide open goal. Or what a save by Adfuaukyd. I hated that I had no idea what was going on either.
It doesn't matter to anyone living up here in Canada...... lockout or no lockout, hockey is still going to dominate the sport channels. The CFL (Canadian Football League) is already finished with their season and we don't have any NFL teams, so you'd think that the NBA would dominate the sports coverage, right? Nope. Hockey is still dominant even though there is a lockout. Our typical SportsCenter consists of talk about how nothing happened with hockey negotiations, followed by talk of how hockey players are unhappy, followed by highlights from amateur hockey leagues that no one actually watches or cares about, followed by more talk of how nothing happened with hockey negotiations....... and then the remaining 5 minutes are given to the NBA. Damn hockey-heads.....
Yeah, I hate any other sport but basketball. The only sport I love and will love. Even though I'm Canadian, I don't have the slightest clue about hockey or football or whatever. Go basketball.

I could not take watching Brady and Belichick hoist the trophy for the second straight year. This game will be a disaster. No offense to Pats fans here. I will find something better to do for three hours next Sunday. Right now, it's all hoops for me. I love basketball of all sports. I can talk basketball everyday even in the summer. I don't get into baseball till June and I wish basketball would start in October so that NBA can be a diversion to baseball. Who wants to watch the Yankees and Red Sox duke it out in the ALCS every year?
Lol, well, I like Football the most followed by probably baseball even though I hate how there's no cap and it's the same few teams in the playoffs every year. Basketball comes next and though I never watched Hockey I was going to pay attention more this season. I'm just a sports fan overall though and there's very little space between them.
Another thing. I am sure ESPN is going to try feed Yankees/Red Sox garbage to us once spring training starts.
