Carter has been signed for the whole season he was never on a 10 day contract like some people have been thinking so unless we release him or trade him..we will have him all season.
To win, the Wolves need to move KG to the Center, and start Eddie Griffen. He is the most underrated player on that team.
Good signing. John has done a solid job at center and Flip seems very comfortable with him. John will get lot more minutes as Michael is going to riding the pine a lot. John deserves it. I know Jim Peterson was talking about how it was a must for the Wolves to sign John.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheMegaGreg:</div><div class="quote_post">To win, the Wolves need to move KG to the Center, and start Eddie Griffen. Moving KG to the 5 might not be a good move because of his size, he has the height but playing against some centers, we would have a bad mismatch because the opposing center would outweigh him by a large margin. And I feel Eddie is best suited and is more effective to come off the bench. And here is a small article on Thomas, <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A year ago, when Oliver Miller's contract got picked up for the balance of the 2003-04 season, nothing particularly good came of it. The knockabout big man seemed to take his roster spot for granted, let his conditioning go south, soured in attitude and became an afterthought in the Timberwolves' rotation. His played just 58 minutes over the final two months and made eight blink-and-he's-out appearances. Any chance forward John Thomas might get similarly comfortable and unproductive, now that the Wolves have signed him for the rest of his season? Thomas laughed heartily. "Oh, I'm the complete opposite of that," the former Gophers player said. "I look at this as an opportunity to get better and to work that much harder." </div> Link
