Dam man hes hert..Here another bad season for the Dolfins im thinking.Lets hope its not the whole season like it says on www.nfl.com...I like the phins now.
Poole is out the whole season. However, the timing is a little better & this coaching staff not only can & will adapt but has a several contingency plans I'm sure. As I understand, Saban doesn't place quite the premium on the secondary the previous staffs did. Nick is all about having the front 7 seek & destroy.
Hmm well i hope We do good..(WE means the phins becuase they my 3rd fav team...After Cinci and the Packers)
The Phins Will be very improved next year but I don't think their ready to get back to their winning ways, Was Poole their projected starter?
Is it just me, or are the Dolphins being way too overhyped this offseason? Remember guys, they finished 2-14 last season. It's very tough to rebound from that kind of year and win consistently.
you don't know Nick Saban. If there is any coach who can come in change things and make it work, it is Saban. besides, no one is saying phins are going to win the super bowl. We just feel it will be alot better. Mainly considering winning 6 games would be alot better.
#1, they were 4-12, not 2-14....#2, they looked like a different team at the end of the season once Wanny was jettisoned....#3, I havent seen anyone hype the Dolphins as anything but the 4th best team in the AFC East, and thats something you get by default.....I will go out on a limb right now and predict that they dont finish last....they were not nearly as bad as the record indicated....with some solid coaching and strategy, 7 to 9 wins is within thier reach....its a bit early to think about the playoffs, but they are much improved....maybe the most improved team in the league....it is a tough division though....
Poole was expected to compete w/ Daniels, Mario Edwards, & Reggie Howard for the spot opposite Madison. BJ1156 is right. Daniels does have advantage as he knows the system. It would not surprise me to see em sign Terell Buckley again. This just in, Poole may be back in Oct.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>I will go out on a limb right now and predict that they dont finish last....</div> I agree and will go further out on beef's limb and say there will be alot of unhappy people in western NY in December. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>they were not nearly as bad as the record indicated....with some solid coaching and strategy, 7 to 9 wins is within thier reach....</div> I am prediciting 7. Look @ how many close games they were in last year. Saban alone is worth 2 wins IMO. Houck fixing the OL is another. The new offensive philosophy might be another win or 2 just depending on AJ's progress. Personally, I am more optimistic about the state of the Dolphins than I have been in previous years.
dont get too excited the Bills had a good run lsat year at the end their defense is good and their only big change is their QB (as far as i know i'm probably wrong) i'd say its a close race for last
Every team in the division is one injury away from the cellar, so its not like anyone is invincible....no one knows what will happen, but I know Im looking forward to watching....
i think Miami will do GREAT this year. SO many people predict a 7-9 or less, i predict a bounce back, like 11-5. The only reason we sucked last year was because of our OFFENSE. We had no offensive lineman, no good RB, and a DECENT QB. NOW we have a good RB, NOW we have an offensive line coach from heaven, and we have 2 good QBs. Our defense has gotten better players too. Last year our defense was amazing.....just remember, the Miami Dolphins beat the best team in the NFL last year (NE Patriots).....if we can beat the Pats, we can beat ANYONE. As for our CBs.....we have Sam Madison on one side, and on the other side we have Mario Edwards, Reggie Howard, and Brian Daniels. I think Howard will be the starter, but id like to see Ty Law come to Miami.....NOT Terrell Buckley, he is too old. Ty Law is in his 11th year, Terrell is in his 14th year.
Miami Dolphins cornerback Will Poole underwent successful surgery to repair the medial meniscus and reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Poole sustained the injury on May 4, 2005. He will be re-evaluated on an ongoing basis.I hope he can come back next year.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NOT Terrell Buckley, he is too old. Ty Law is in his 11th year, Terrell is in his 14th year.</div> Sometimes I just can't BELIEVE that Terrell Buckley has lasted 14 years in this league. Every year he does just enough to hang on for one more season. I sure would like to go back in time and tell the Packers to draft Troy Vincent instead. I don't know what the hell they were thinking there...
