True he's a good shooter and all, but when your shots are not falling down you don't shoot your way out of it. You're Tmac, one of the best athletes in the game, DRIVE to the hole, get fouled, shoot a couple FTs and get your shooting flow back... Gosh, first we have Francis who drove/passed like a wild duck holding onto a hot potato usually resulting in a TO or a bad shot. Now we have Tmac shooting outside jumpers when he is at least a top 5 athlete in the league in terms of driving to the basket....
At this point of the season, I'd rather have Ward back and starting instead of Strickland or Barrett. Ward is better conditioned than Strickland, and has more experience than Barret. He also has the ability to knock down open threes, one thing that has been hurting us since Jim Jackson left. Now would be a good time to go back to our old, half-court defense and focus on defense. We can't risk having Strickland running the floor for 35 minutes without wearing him out within two games, and Barrett cannot be counted on for 35 minutes a game.
