Sam Cassell PG Hamstring Questionable Wed. vs Atl. 1/25 -Summary- The T-Wolves are 2-0 against the Kings this year, and the Kings would like to even things out. In their first meeting, Minnesota rallied behind the bench scoring of Eddie Griffin to take the victory. Griffin scored 20 points, and grabbed 9 rebounds to aid Minnesota's cause. Griffin again caused havoc in the second meeting between these two teams. This time scoring 18, and taking down 7 boards. A big key to winning this game would be to stop Eddie from killing them off the bench. Guys like KG are going to put up numbers every night, but Griffin can be controlled. Look for the Kings to key in on him more than usual. Rebounding will also be a huge factor. In the 2 previous meetings, The T-Wolves have dominated the boards. November 28th - 51-37 December 10th - 45-34 It's hard to win games when you are getting outrebounded that badly. If Sacramento can keep the rebounding numbers close, their chances of winning are greatly improved. -Prediction- This is a tough one, because we're not sure who'll be playing for either team. I look for Mobley to have a big game, and show Minnesota that this is a different team now. Also, I think that Miller and Webber will do a better job on the boards, and Sacramento will end up escaping with a narrow victory. SAC 97 MIN 94</div>
Great game for Sac. No Peja, No Webber, No Bobby, No Problem. This bench might be a little deeper than people think. Anybody see Bibby's block on Wally? Had me outta my seat, like his block on LBJ. The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the rebounding... The Kings had a 45 - 44 Rebounding advantage.
Great game....Kings win 94-84. (without Webber and Peja) Sac did a good job shutting down Griffin(3 pts in 30 mins). They also won the battle on the boards 45-44. Mobley ended up going for 23, but he was outdone by Brad Miller who went for 27 & 15. Another bright spot was Barnes' 10 rebounds. Overall, it was a great game for the Kings.
is it just me or are the Kings looking like the sleeper in the West no one talks about them but they are quietly having yet another good season, and once Peja and C-Webb get to 100%.. skys the limit with Mobley included who I think will be the difference maker (he makes the big shots, where Christie never did)
You got to love it.Even I was beginning to think the Wolves have Sac's number,they always seem to play their best against them.Not today however.Bad day to be a Wolves fan.For the kings to win without their top 2 scorers is...you got to love it.Im disappointed i didnt get to see this one because now i know i could have just watched it on Telemundo NO no NO no Nooooooo.

If this team can ever get healthy; look out. This was a great win for the Kings as the Wolves have seemed to have thier number as of late. This was a little revenge for the Wolves winning one at ARCO earlier on in the year. BTW: Why was Webber not playing? Did they just rest his knee again or did something else happen?
The Kings are a sleeper IMO because they were sort of under rated @ the beginnign of the season. Like others, I also believe that this is one of worst seasons in a while for the kings (prediction wise) and just because they weren't championship/playoff favourites they were sorta brushed aside, even though they were still ranked in some of the top seeds. I think because the kings sort of "fell off" from their rankings, they suddenly got the boot as for who;s hot to talk about. I can't wait to see the kings in the playoffs.

I still think that this is the best shot that the Kings have had at the title in their recent run. If they can play defense in the playoffs, I like our chances. Webb playing MVP calibur ball, Miller becomming the best center in the West, Bibby playing like an all star, Peja being Peja and still making clutch shots, and lots of them, Mobley looking like the steal of the century (guess who is winning that trade?), Solid production off the bench, and don't forget, if the Kings make it deep enough into the playoffs (second or third round) I would bet that Mr. Jackson might make a little comeback... To the rest of the NBA; Consider Yourselves Warned.
^haha at another board someone brought up the fact that last year Rasheed Wallace was the last piece missing from the Pistons team...and once they got him they were rollin...and as we all know they won it all....the trade for Cat is showing similar results...maybe we could have the kinda ending that they did...given they do player defense...but maybe we can shock the world like the Pistons did last season
