There was an article in the Toronto Star yesterday that Bosh could emerge as an All-Star, and that his family was supporting him. Do you think he has a chance of being voted in by the coaches? He's been phenomenal after the Vince trade, and the East is likely to select two power forwards, since two small forwards will be starting. Candidates are Jermaine O'Neal, Drew Gooden, Antoine Walker, Antwan Jamison, Emeka Okafor and Udonis Haslem. Of those players, Antoine Walker is definitely not going to make it, simply because the Hawks are faltering. The only guy who's a lock there is O'Neal. Can Bosh be the other?

The 2 reserves at the Forwards IMO will be Jermaine O'Neal and Antawn Jamison.

That leaves 2 wildcard spots, one is likely to be a swingman, and the other is likely to be a big. I see Z or Emeka taking one of these spots, but anything is possible.

I believe the other is going to be Antawn Jamison. If the Vince trade happened before this season, and Chris Bosh was doing this well, he would've been my top choice. And though the raptors have done well with him leading the way, his team's record is too low in where areas Jamison's wizards are having a great season so far.

I really don't think it will happen this year. I think within a couple years he will be a guaranteed all-star. I'll be voting for him everyday!! I hope he gets put as a forward though, because he isn't really a center anymore.

    Yup, Jamison and Jermaine O'neal

2 Wild card spots will have 2 of a PG, SG/SF, or PF/C

Bosh could be an allstar in 2 years if he keeps developing.

it's sad but the truth is:

all-star picks are usually selected based on statistical numbers and obviously fan popularity, and it lies in the hands of the fans who the starters will be...

i'm not sure how popular bosh will be south of the border in order to sway fans to vote for him...especially with the popular players he's up against...

but w/o a doubt he will be selected as a reserve within the next couple years...and we'll see what the fans dictate after that...and people are starting to see what CB4 can do...he's got our vote for sure [IMG]
