For one game, at least. We need to see if he's still capable of stepping up his game. If I remember correctly, he had a big game against the Spurs late last season, including a major throw-down on Rasho Nesterovic. If Ray is out, I don't see the harm in starting Flip, giving him 30 minutes and telling him to play his natural scoring game. Particularly if Dwayne Casey is coaching this one.
I hope he will get his 30 minutes! And I really hope he delivers, maybe then Iron Shiek will be little bit happier for a day....or two.
If he gets the minutes he'll produce, bottom line. I don't think that it going to happen though, especially considering that Dwayne is coaching. He wouldn't want to be the one to break the rotation even if Ray can't go. That would have to be Nate's call.
Flip has mad game.. no doubt about it, he's not afraid to drive the lane and throw it down on a big man, you got to respect that. if he works on his 3 pt shot (which i guess would make him a true Sonic these days ha) then the guy can easily average 20 a game, though a little selfish, still very valueable... and if you guys can somehow keep Ray, you need Flip's stock to be high so you can trade him for a big man that can score.. which is what the Sonics desperately need.

38 minutes, 5/17 shooting, five turnovers, while Rashard took only nine shots (although I'm sure Bruce Bowen had something to do with that). Obviously he's rusty, but I wouldn't call that definite production, particularly with Ginobili having a good game. Anyone know if Ray is back for Sacramento?
Flip hasn't looked in sync with the offense all year, like he doesn't even know the plays or where other guys are - bumping into his teammates, passing where they aren't... It seems he has to iso his man and break him down (which he is very good at) in order to score, which I'm sure is at odd's with Nate.

Does Flip have any kind of midrange game?As of now what does his offensive arsenal consist of?All ive really seen him do is take it to the basket.
