[IMG] Brand can give Kurt Thomas some trouble downlow because of his size. I think this will be a very fun and interesting match for Michael Sweetney. He will learn a lot from just watching Elton Brand play.

[IMG] priceless. Anyway Jaric can not be left open, he can flat out stroke the 3 with the best of them. He is also leading them in assists with almost 7 a game. They also have a very solid Chris Wilcox giving about 10 and 5 off the bench too. Their bench is obviously better than ours and we must play excellent defense on them.

    Key Matchup:
The Key Matchup is at the PF position.

Thomas[IMG]" target="_blank">http://www.nba.com/media/act_kurt_thomas.jpg"> vs. [IMG]" target="_blank">http://www.nba.com/media/act_elton_brand.jpg">Brand

No other great matchups but this one. Kurt Thomas will have Brand on him a great defender but, it will be interesting to see what he does when Marbury gets into the paint. Will Kurt Thomas thrive with the midrange jumper? This is what we will have to find out tonight. Both are excellent rebounders and very good defenders. Also at the power forward position Sweetney will be playing against Brand so it makes it even more special. Definitely a good matchup and obviously the Key one.

    My Prediction:
We are in a dog fight from beginning to the end. We are down to the wire on players, and we are not a good road team. The only thing that is preventing us from badly losing this one is the absence of Corey Maggette and Kerry Kittles. This will be a very close game and I am going wih New York 95-93. Those two are very valuable to their teams success and the Clippers injuries are more valuable in my opinion. Let?s see what happens though. As we know, the Knicks are unpredictable so any prediction can l be very inaccurate.

This really, really needed to be a win. Yet we lose again. [IMG]

Jamal Crawford and Stephon Marbury both needed to put 25pts + and I expected them to. Man this is getting worse and worse, and I'm not talking about injuries.

Note: Penny Hardaway playing well [IMG] but I get frustrated because he doesn't shoot enough, nevertheless I guess next game .....................

Another Knicks loss! Man we suck. The team is falling apart and there's nothing we can do about it now (since the trade deadline is over - right?).

Since Stephon Marbury made that "I'm the best PG" comment, the New York Knicks are 1-11.

I think people should stop criticizing Marbury about that. Lets say you were in his shoes, and someone asked you who you thought the best pg in the league was.

    A. He is among the elite PGs.
    B. As a NBA player, you need to be confident.

I think in the spur of the moment I would have said the same thing. At least he didn't say something he would regret, like say he was the best pg ever.

Surely he knew that would cause a stir, because alot of people don't think he is. Even worse he say's it at a time when the New York Knicks were not playing solid basketball, so he really should have known that with such a bold statement like that, and the likely possibility that New York Knicks would struggle in subsequent games, such remarks are going back to bite him.

Huge statement, and he hasn't backed it up, though it is always hard being the best player on a bad team. Nevertheless the timing of it was not good in Stephon Marbury's case, if he had said it during a multiple game winning streak than maybe he wouldn't get so much crap about it.

I agree with what your saying, but he needs to think before he says something like that, not good timing at all ......................

When he said it, wasn't his team like 4 or 5 games ahead of every other team in the atlantic? Weren't you guys like at 0.525 or something. Didn't you have a little winning streak when he said it?
