I don't have time for a preview for this game, I have a dentist appt. tomorrow (I hate the dentist ) If someone wants to make a preview and post it in here, that would be great... I think Washington needs a win, they lost two in a row to Orlando...a win here would be huge, they are at home and I think they can pull a win off. Gilbert going up against Chauncey should be a great matchup again, I am taking Washington in this one by 4. Washington - 100 Detroit - 96
Tough loss, the game was close throughout, but the Pistons pulled away with about 6 minutes left, and their was no turning back from there. Arenas and Jamison both ahd good games, Jamison going 3-6 from downtown was a surprise. Arenas shooting was a little dissapointing, but his 8 assists to 2 turnovers is a good sign in terms of his decision making, and improved playmaking.
Didn't see it, but it seems to me this was a game where Hughes would have helped a lot. They seemed like they needed a third scoring option, and neither Hayes nor Dixon stepped up in that role. Haywood also only played 22 minutes due to foul trouble, and I think that hurt. This was a big game as it could help determine who gets homecourt come playoff time if we play them. Our first 3 game losing streak of the season. Now it's all about the rebound.
Tough loss...but we are a young team, we are going to lose to teams like Det. I firmly believe if Hughes was in the lineup, the result might be a little different. Just a tough loss, but we will win these kinds of games with experience <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Something about the Washington Wizards brings out the best in Chauncey Billups.
