Who's the new coach? Cooooper could suit up and maybe play some D too! Bibby vs. Bibby could be fun. Majerus was ready to move to LA for USC, what about the Lakers? With Westhead at least we wouldn't have to worry about playing D. [IMG]

Phil is not coming back..that is baloney..where did you hear that?

He would not come back for Kobe, Shaq would have a heart attack...realistically...would anyone like to see Cooper here?

I would welcome back Phil Jackson with open arms, and I would hope his return would also mean Kupchak is fired so PJax could be the Coach/GM. One of the knocks on PJax as being the greatest coach ever, was he never built a team like Red Auerbach did. The only player PJax actually developed was Scottie Pippen.

I don't want any coach jumping from college to the Lakers, so Bibby & Majerus are out. So are Coach K, Tom Izzo, or any other coach in the college rankings. The Lakers do not need to rebuild and dealing with the growing pains of having to break in a college coach doesn't make sense for the Lakers.

Paul Westphal...NO THANKS. The Lakers have enough defensive problems already.

Michael Cooper, I don't think he's ready to be coach a team yet. He's only been an assistant and most of his experience is from the WNBA. He's a fan favorite, but the Lakers already experimented with those when they had Magic and Rambis trying to coach the Lakers.

I fear the name of Del Harris returning to coach this team.
