Good...I didn't want to trade with them unless we were getting Dalembert in returning. We weren't getting Iggy anyways, so there was no point in asking. Plus, Babcock would only make himself look dumb infront of Billy by asking him for a player that he passed up on.

The thing I don't get is, most papers and sources come up with rumours that have us acquiring an overpaid power forward (Kurt Thomas, Kenny Thomas, Malik Rose, ... etc), while the 4 spot is the last of our needs. We have Chris who'll be starting for a long while, and Matt Bonner & Pape Sow are devoloping and look promising. I hope Babcock isn't really trying to trade for the players mentioned above.
If A.I. was on the block, would you guys want him? I know it wouldn't be just for Marshall. but lets say it was A.I. for Yell, Murray, and Zo, which actually works out.

He's aging, his boady is on the verge of breaking down, and he is the exact opposite of what Rob and Sam are trying to install in this orgnization. A trade for A.I can't bring us any good IMO. Besides, King is gonna ask for Bosh, so no.
for yell, murray, and zo thats a steal. trading marshall will give bonner a chance to develop as they are similar players in a way, murray ehh he's not needed that much, and zo won't even report. how long is AI's contract anyways?
I don't want Iverson. Even if we can trade Rose for him, I don't want him. He has 4 more years on his contract after this season, he's about to turn 30, and his contracts tops over 20 million in upcoming years. Better do good in the draft and get young players, who are 8, 9, 10 years younger than AI, like McCants, Warrick and co.

He's getting slower but do you expect him to be in a wheelchair? People said that he's gonna be playing really bad and he's gonna miss half of the games. What has happend this far? His enjoying his best year statistically and has missed few games like he always does thanks to his hustle on the court.

I know Iverson is not Reggie age wise, he's gon' turn 30 soon, which is where most players are during their prime. However, Iverson's style of play will eventually wear down on his body, specially with the multiple injuries he recieved during his career, so logicly you'd think his body will break down earlier than the rest of the players. So I don't wanna pay a guy 20 Mil when he's 34 years old, past his prime, and still maintains an ego as big as his contract. Even if Iverson is 25 years old, I wouldn't trade for him, his overall makeup just doesn't apply under the sytstem and culture Babcock and Mitchell are trying to build here.
Acquiring Iverson would probably stunt the growth of CB4 as well due to his tendency to take too many shots. I say just develope around CB4 and see who we can grab on the FA market.

That way you develop a stable core for a good 3-4,5 years and then you can have the option to resign them when their contract is over.
