I have one thing to say and I'll shut up, Alabama is much better than Pacific, we have played better than Pacific, and Wichita State should be ranked...ahead of Pacific. That's all I have to say.

Beyond that, teams like Minnesota, Temple, Tennessee State, Arkansas, Auburn, Mississippi, have given them problems. How can you say they're so good. They lose to good teams and BARELY beat bad or sub par teams. They are OVERRATED, just like rest of the SEC. Ok, I think I'm done now....and hopefully you will actually shut up for a change and realize that 'Bama is not that good.

Second, Temple, Ole miss, and Arkansas have taken many good teams to the wire. Third, why are you afraid to put up the Mississippi State game, a win by 49 against anybody is huge. Fourth, a SEC team will win the national championship whether it is Alabama or Kentucky. It's funny, mediocre teams such as West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia are praised here, but any team Alabama beats is suddenly mediocre or sub-par. What happens if we defeat an undefeated Illinois or Boston College team in the NCAA tournament, will they suddenly be branded "mediocre"? Another thing, "'Bama is not that good", any team that is 17-3 is good or at least above average no matter who they are. I suppose you'd rather prop up a paper tiger like Michigan State or Oklahoma, that's fine, the Tide will do it's talking on the court.

Secondly, the SEC will NOT win the title. They are cutting games way close. Kentucky, I'm not sure if you noticed, almost lost to Arkansas this weekend, barely escaped with a one point victory. Beyond that, they're too young to win a title. They don't have a lot of veteran players on that team. Plus, they have very little offense, so if they're gonna go anywhere, that defense best be making some stops. Next, Mississippi State was without their best player. So good for you, you can kick the wounded while their down. Must make you feel special. Temple is 9-8, hence why I don't consider them that good. Sometimes records do lie, but theirs doesn't. They're mediocre or worst. To back this up, they've struggled with the likes of Princeton, only winning by 2 points, 48-46, they lost to Fordham, lost to a mediore Auburn team, a mediocre South Carolina team. So yea, they're not that good. Next thing, you won't beat Illinois or BC in the big dance, and by than, neither will be undefeated anyways, so that thought is irrelevant. And no, they won't be branded mediocre, they're good. They've proven it. They've beaten good teams and they're beating the teams that they're supposed to beat. That's something that they haven't done well. Cause for one, they've lost to some teams that they should beat or have at least struggled with them, and they have yet to beat a ranked opponent (aside from Miss. State, who was without they're best player). Last thing....records lie my friend. Just because you're 17-3 doesn't mean your good. If you want to know who's good or not, take a look at not just the record, but who they've beaten. And quite frankly, aside from a wounded Miss. State, they haven't beaten anyone.
Jagman, please stop talking out of your ass. An SEC team will win the championship? You're alone in that my friend. Just about anyone will tell you that the SEC is probably only the sixth or seventh best conference in college basketball. Kentucky has historically been good (mainly because the competition in their glory days sucked life), but this year they're young, innexperienced, and will be blown out in the second round or Sweet 16 of the tournament depending on who they played. Mississippi State and Florida should not make the tournament, but if they do then they'll be knocked out early. And about Alabama, I swear, after one run in the tournament all of a sudden you think you're the national champions to be. Ever heard of a fluke? You want to compare yourself to Michigan State, call them a paper tiger. That's funny, Michigan State has been to three final fours, four elite eights, and has won one national championship in the last six years. What can Alabama say about that? Michigan State has a home Win/Loss record of 95-5 in the last 100 games. What can Alabama say about that? Michigan State has played Illinois, at Duke, at Wisconsin, at George Washington, UCLA, and Stanford. I guarantee you that if Alabama played that schedule, they'd have six or maybe even seven losses. Finally, look at Michigan State's roster. They are top to bottom talent. I don't feel like repeating myself, so as I said in the Michigan State game thread - "Jagman, you want to talk about overrated? Talk about Alabama, Mississippi State, Kentucky, and the whole damn SEC for that matter. The Big Ten teams (Michigan State) are definitely not overrated though. If anything, they're underrated. Michigan State definitely deserved that #10 spot. They only had three losses (all to ranked teams mind you... mostly last second losses mind you), and they also had some very convincing blowout wins over Stanford, UCLA, and Michigan. If you are going to say that Alabama is a better team, you can just stop now. Alabama was blown out by Wisconsin, but Michigan State took the Badgers down to the last minute (and probably should have won that game). You want to talk about overrated? How about Kentucky who is #4 in the nation after being crushed by Kansas and North Carolina? They beat Louisville, but we all know that one game doesn't prove anything. Louisville lost to Houston, does that make Houston #4? I mean, come on Jagman, use some common sense. Some times you just can't look at schedules and results; look at talent. Shannon Brown was a top 3 High School recruit. Do you know who the only two players ranked ahead of him were? LeBron James and Luol Deng. Kelvin Torbert was the High School Player of the Year by some publications and the runner up to Dajuan Wagner by most. Paul Davis was a top 5 recruit in pretty much all publications and the #1 Center recruit. After our main three then you have our leading scorer, Maurice Ager; our biggest NBA prospect, Alan Anderson; and our team leader and Michigan State's alltime leader in 3-pointers, Chris Hill. Between those six players, there is more talent than just about any other team's six best players." <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Oklahoma, that's fine, the Tide will do it's talking on the court.</div> First of all, the Tide never say jack **** on the court. Michigan State is a team that talks on the court. We're constantly in the Championship, Final Four, or Elite Eight. Alabama has 0 national championships. All you have to say for yourselves is a win over shocked Mississippi State who is not that good afterall and didn't even have their best player. If the SEC weren't such a shitty conference, Mississippi State would be getting raped right now. Unfortunately, they're being let off easy with these cupcake games like Ole Miss and LSU. Second of all, Oklahoma is a paper Tiger? They beat #11 Connecticut. They beat #9 Oklahoma State. They beat #11 Texas. They beat Texas A&M (who was just outside the rankings). Their only losses are to Washington, Duke, and a fluke loss this week against a solid Iowa State team. So how the hell are they paper tigers and Alabama is not? Third of all, I just want to remind you how ****ing easy Alabama has it in the SEC this season. Normally these SEC teams play shitty preseason schedules but no one makes a big deal about it because they all start piling up the losses once conference play starts though. However, this season the SEC is weak as hell. You guys play Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina, Vanderbilt (oops... I guess they blew you out... right?), Mississippi State, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, and ****ty teams like that. Basically, your only hard games all year were against Wisconsin and Washington, and you got your asses raped. You'll play Kentucky, but so ****ing what? If you win, you still don't have my respect because Kentucky is an overrated young innexperienced team who will end up losing games like that. I'm sorry Jagman, I'm sick of hearing from you. Alabama had two chances to prove themselves and blew it. Now shut the **** up. BTW - I actually like the rankings this time. I'd change some things, but this is the best I've seen them in a while.
