My vote goes to Arenas, however the depth at his postion in The Eastern Conference may make Gilbert a tough selection as a reserve this season.

I think Antawn Jamison has the better chance, the only aforementioned players I see possibly getting voted ahead of Jamison would be Antoine Walker and Jermaine O'Neal, but the coaches are allowed to vote in two foward reserves and two wildcard selections from any postion. I like his chances, Arenas is a toss up...

^What about Hughes? I know he is injured but I think he deserves more recognition then Arenas and Jamison.

SPG 2.82 (1st in the NBA)

I don't understand why all the recognition goes to Arenas and Jamison. If anything it Larry is a huge part of their winning ways. Not only does he get it going offensively but he is their BEST defensive player. BTW he is one of only 3 players averaging 20, 5 and 5. The other 3? Kevin Garnett and Lebron James.

And how come you have Al Harrington and Antoine Walker over Bosh? I know this opinion is totally subjective but having them over Bosh is kinda ridiculous.

my vote goes to Arenas, he's simply a better player than Jamison.. argueably the 2nd best PG in the NBA (Nash #1)

    Def. Arenas.

Arenas has been playing much better ball than Jamison this year, who has been some what of a dissapointment. I agree Hughes deserves a spot, but he hasn't been our best player. Arenas has won us numerous game (against the Lakers, and numerous other game winnners). Right now, Jamison is our 3rd best player, behind Hughes and then Arenas. Arenas and Wade deserve those reserve spots more than any other guard in the league.

Garnett, Lebron and Hughes are not the only 3 averaging 20, 5 and 5. T-Mac, Kobe, Francis are some others.

It's hands down Arenas, him and Hughes have been the X-Factors for the team this season, Jamison holds things together off the court, and with his maturity, but Arenas and Hughes are the big dog's in there.

Tonight's game displayed why it should be Arenas. We blew a huge lead after he got ejected. Antawn just isn't clutch, Arenas is our best clutch player, that puts him over Antawn IMO.

That's ridiculous? I think your claim is the only over statement here. And I don't know why my previous response was deleted. Kinda funny, huh?

Seriously though, with such close statistics, how does my opinion resemble anything close to deserving the title, "ridiclous"?

Al Harrington and Antione Walker won't even be considered because of the miserable state of their team, and Al Harrington just got injured too.

Your telling me, seriously, that Walker won't make the allstar team? Which 2-3 Fowards are going to be named reserves before him? Antawn Jamison and who else? Jermaine O'Neal perhaps, but he's likely to be named the backup center, even if he's selected as a reserve foward that still leaves room for one more to be choosen to the roster. I can't think of any who come close to Walker from a statistics stand point, or any Foward who's team has such an impressive record that they deserve the nod. Care to mention any?
